Kitten proofing for cables.

Our teething kitten managed to chew through every one of our charging cables, so we needed to find something to protect the replacements from him. This looked to be the most suitable for the purpose. It’s somewhat fiddly to get around the cable, but seems (so far at least) to be doing the job. It’s not too bulky, & is reasonably inoffensive to look at. Recommended by all of us, except the kitten.

Ich benutze das Produkt als Kabelschutz meiner Rift-S.

Das Umwickeln des Kabels war etwas Tüdelig das es von der Dicke gerade so reicht, jedoch keiner Rede wert.
Das Kabel sieht dadurch besser aus, liegt durch die leichte Steifheit besser im Raum und ist besser vor knicken und anderen Beschädigungen beschützt.

Falls ich für andere Anwendungen Kabelschläuche benötige werde ich auf diese zurückkommen.

This is the perfect size to fit over oxygen tubing. A bit tricky to get on, but once you get the hang of it, it's pretty fast and easy. Works well so far, no more holes in the tubing!

This is an excellent cord organizer and wrap. There are many sizes. They prevent cats from chewing the cord because it changes the size, thickness, texture, and smell of the cords. Dogs? Not sure. I can say these work for cats (i.e. against cats chewing) but not sure if these will work for dogs.

1/2" size: Good for wrapping 3 standard electrical cables (round ones) like computer power cable, LAN Cat-5e cables, phone cables, etc. Maybe 4 will work too but I tried - pushing it a little. But it all depends on the cables.

1/8" size: Good for standard cell phone charger cable, laptop charger cable (not the outlet portion but the portion that goes into the laptop).. etc. About 2 will fit into the cord wrap. Maybe 3 ..... But 2 work the best.

1/4" size: In between. Perfect for wrapping 1 SINGLE electrical cable for the purpose of wrapping (for cat chew protection) and NOT for bundling and organizing. If you want to combine two cables together, you need the 1/2" inch. But buy the 1/4" one to just wrap one cable.

SO I am hoping the above is helpful to you in determining which size to buy. And it works!!
