I didn't think twice in purchasing this because not only do i love ginger beer, its advertised as diet and therefore I was excited.
Because of my experience I admittedly didn't look at the ingredients or nutritional information because again, my experience with diet is its all sugar free.
Apparently this is indeed NOT the case with Bundaberg.
I took a few sips and I thought "wow this is great for diet, it doesn't taste sugar free at all" I turn the bottle and read that it does in fact have cane sugar and 10% in total sugars.
I don't know what the laws or rules are but if you are in fact a diabetic and you purchase this diet drink in the expectation that there are zero sugars be warned that is NOT the case. Honestly this is a bit dangerous for those who are extremely diabetic and have incredibly difficult times balancing their sugars. Had I not taken my medication this would have been difficult for my body to handle. I wish there was more of a warning.
Otherwise it tastes great but Im going to have to be careful in drinking this. Maybe like one bottle of it every week or so.
