The top board is a cheap particle board with a crappy coating rough texture that feels pretty bad, it should have been a smooth coating. I'm pretty sure they sent me a used one even though I paid for a new one, it was pretty dirty and the bottom right corner was damaged, so that's disappointing. When it's all the way down and you type too hard the springs rattle. It seems like they took advantage of the standing desk hype that's going on so they figured no one would care if they charged double. It's working fine for what it is, I just wish it didn't seem so cheaply made. Not worth $100.

I've only used this for a month and now its already broken.. Its just stuck and cant be raised anymore.. The problem with this is that the handle to raise it is only on one side so you really have to be careful when adjusting it. Thank goodness that I have Amazon Prime and I was able to request for a replacement.
