Grill up burgers, steaks and chicken on your next outdoor adventure with a Coleman Cast Iron Skillet. You'll have plenty of room to cook on the easy-to-clean, non-stick, 10-in,-diameter cooking surface. Raised ribs ensure an even temperature throughout, and the pour spouts makes for easy draining when you're done. A hole in the molded handle makes storing at home or at the campsite simple.
THE OUTSIDE IS CALLING
There’s an adventure outside—and it’s waiting for you. The best part? You don’t need to go too far to find it. From your first camping trip to weekends at the lake, Coleman has always been there. So, grab your friends, your family, your gear and get ready for wherever adventure takes you.
WHERE WE STARTED
It all began when we created the first portable, gas-powered lantern that illuminated the first evening football game west of the Mississippi. In WWII, our camping stoves transformed the way soldiers ate in the field. We continued to revolutionize the outdoors with our cooler manufacturing in the 1950s, and in the decades that followed we added tents, sleeping bags, lighting, and more.
WHERE WE ARE TODAY
After 120 years, Coleman gear is everywhere you are: on the trail, by the lake, at the campsite, or in your own backyard. We're always around a place where there are friends, coolers, and campfires. So, grab a tent, fire up a grill, and pull up a chair. The Outside Is Calling. Answer it.

The skillet itself is quite big enough with the 10 inch diameter. The depth is about 2-3 inches which gives the pan a nice amount of space to work with most foods to cook with. Being iron, the skillet is heavy but very sturdy. The handle is short but not enough to be detrimental to handling on the stove. Plus, it has a lip on the opposite side to carry/move with two hands.
The skillet heats up FAST and does a great job cooking. I warmed some meatballs and they turned a nice brown with not much burning. I strongly suggest researching how to maintain a skillet as it is not your normal pan. Cooking spray, olive oil, or vegetable oil is what should be used for cooking and maintenance. For a great source about maintaining this or any other skillet see the following link: http://www.wikihow.com/Clean-a-Cast-Iron-Skillet
Overall, if you're reading this and looking at skillets this one is a great price and does the job well. I've been happy with it and once you learn how to maintain/season the skillet, you won't be sorry.
New information: I've compared this skillet with my old skillet in reference to the textured bottom. This skillet is even more non-stick than my old skillet with the smooth surface, I think the textured bottom turned out to be a good feature.
One other note is that the dual pour spouts are nice.
