I'm not sure how universal this item is. Overall it fit my shower hose but was not as easy to place and take out. It did connect well to main extension without leakage. However, it also broke my hose connector while turning the screw..so I guess I won't need this anymore.

If they are still making these like they did 5 years ago I wouldn't hesitate to buy again, but I don't need to because the original is still going strong. It works like it is supposed to and has never leaked nor pitted, nor rusted.

We bought this a few months ago since I had a wall mounted one that would no longer stick to the shower wall. This works absolutely great. Holds onto the removable shower head nice and tight. Very sturdy and it’s cool that it’s adjustable. Great purchase!
