The item arrived as described. It is very lightweight and is of a material a bit sturdier than plastic. The small drawer slides out and slightly angles down. You can choose from 3 levels to rise it up. I chose the highest option which raises it up 6 inches. I have a Macbook Pro so it fits nicely on top with no overlapping. Also, there is plenty of room underneath to tuck away my Anker wireless keyboard to minimize clutter. Overall, I am very pleased with my purchase! I can now get rid of my make shift cardboard box stand which my laptop was previously raised up on. haha!

Decent stand. I had the same unit for like ten years, it was beat up the drawer broke and was starting to bend a little... but that was after ten years. So... when I got the new one and switched them out I noticed immediately my old one was heavier. Turning them both over, my older unit had a metal reinforcement bar running diagonally across the bottom. The new one (same model) had nothing. They now manufacture it with out the metal reinforced bottom. Oh maybe I order a different version? Nope... the product sheet in the packaging still shows the metal bar. So they cut costs by losing the metal bar but are still using their old packaging. All that said I kept it. It still feels solid and it’s rated for 20lbs over the weight of my iMac. The drawer that slides out is kinda of wonky. People have complained they received the unit with a broken drawer. There are two plastic pegs, one on each side that hold the drawer. They break easily, that’s what happened with my old one. Note, if the drawer breaks you can still use the stand just fine and removing it actually gives you more room to tuck items under your stand.

Sooo, first things first, if I had known amazon was going to deliver this at the END of my work day I would have just spent the same amount of money at staples and bought this, this morning. But that’s on Amazon not the manufacturer. The product itself is nice. Simple. But nice. Does the job. It’s basic, and the drawer is only suitable for a few pens and paper clips. But it’s nice. I won’t be returning it, that’s for sure. I definitely like it. I guess I was just thinking for the price it would be a little more “lux”. Price on this item really shouldn’t be more than $20 though. But again.. I do like it, definitely sturdy. Doesn’t wiggle and move around on you at all if you’re turning your monitor a lot to customers and then back to you. I just wish these had a backing plate so people can see through the back of it

I got this product to elevate my TV in the bedroom to clear the objects placed on my dresser. While the view of my screen wasn't obstructed, I need a little extra height so the sensor for the remote wasn't blocked. This product is relatively sturdy, though I did miscalculate a bit and the base of my TV extends past the sides of the riser a bit. While this doesn't affect the product or the stability, it does bug me a little bit aesthetically. This riser has a built in drawer that has 3 compartments that are about 1/2" deep. If used in an office setting, I suppose they'd be great for holding paper clips or other small items of that nature. The drawer slides in and out easily enough, and tilts down a bit as it slides out for easier access. Below the drawer is an open space good for tucking small items out of the way as a makeshift cubby hole. For the price, the product seems sturdy enough and the quality is on par for something in this price range. For what I intended to use it for, it does the job nicely.

I'm on the taller side at 5'11" and this keeps the monitor at a comfortable height since my monitor has no adjustment. The built in drawer is good for storing paper clips and a sticky note pad, also serves well to stand your cell phone almost upright to easily see updates as needed. Sturdy construction too. The only drawback is that the drawer isn't the smoothest, it can be a little loose to operate. I just leave mine open and it looks just as good and serves the purpose. Maybe some more colors would be nice for people that don't have a dark/black desk like myself. Overall good product and good price for the utility too.
