Every year, I buy one ream of 24-pound paper for my family's color two-sided newsletter and other double-sided printing I do on my laser printer. Usually, I buy Staples 24-pound 98% bright paper, but I thought I'd try this HP "100% bright" paper instead. I'll never buy HP paper again. It basically looks and feels like regular copy paper. There is some slight bleed-through from the double-sided laser printing and very little gloss. I'll just finish this up as regular paper, and I have ordered my normal extra-weight paper from Staples.

Came bent at corners

I needed this 24 lb paper for a special project. It came in a box very protected I thought. When I opened the paper to use, two of the corners were bent up, like it was dropped before being put in the box. Whole ream was that way. I needed the paper asap so I used it but am not happy I did.

Since I have an HP printer, I bought this HP paper. Bad idea. I don’t know what it is about this paper but it sticks together and causes more paper jams. I am going to stick with the Highland brand paper I bought on amazon. I never have problems with it. Thank god I didn’t buy a huge ream of it!

When was the last time you bought a 2" by 4" that was actually two inches by four inches? Hewlett Packard apparently sells paper the same way. I ordered three reams to test it. This paper is nowhere near as heavy or as bright as the Xerox and Kodak papers I previously used but can no longer find. Colors were very muted and not as bright as the Xerox paper I was using. Very disappointing. I was also very disappointed with Hammermill. Guess I'll have to keep looking for a brand that still delivers quality.
