I bought this paper from Amazon at a clearance price. It was "open box", so your experience may be quite different than mine. I bought Hammermill Printer Paper several times in the past and can't say than I was ever really impressed by it.
The lot that I received is, as I say above, prone to curling. Not always causing paper jams, but this is the only paper that I do get jams. Put in a binder and I find it curling up all over the place. Pages curl into one another and everything is a mess. I am also a *little* disappointed with print sharpness. It is only *this* brand of paper that I have these issues.
Hammermill Paper is good paper to print on, but falls short of being called "great." I find that the ink tends to bleed through the paper more than it should. The paper is thin so the printer might pull 2 sheets. It's also not as durable as other brands. I would recommend this paper for printing not in volume and if your printer can handle the thin paper.
Tiny black microdot spots on this paper, not bright white, and rough texture. I won't buy this paper again. There is better quality recycled paper to be had. It's ok, but if you need to make a good copy, it's not great.
The paper does not look like it has a brightness of 90 and is of 20 lb. It is very disappointing. As it is very thin, it is not advisable to print in double sided which I prefer especially on voluminous documents.
Good quality paper, 3 x 500 sheets in the manufacturers box. Amazon packaging showed no damage. Supplier box also looked good, however, lost about a half a package, corner crushed. Won’t feed into my printer ....
