1) It's delightful to look at, the RGB is smooth and bright.
2) It glides on the pad like it's made entirely of semi-melted butter.
3) It's pinpoint accurate, the Pixart 3389 is a joy to behold. Even cruising around windows, you can instantly notice.
4) I've come from the Logitec 403 which was like pushing the House-brick of Notre Dame around the desktop, with that being said, the Pulsefure is aimed at the smaller hand.
5) It has just the right amount of weight, you know it's there but without being taxing on the wrist
I took a risk really, I feel £49.99 is a bit wild for a mouse but I really do feel like I've got something special, everything about it is premium. No-brainer is you're playing fps on the regular.
Una pena, esperaba un poco más de calidad viniendo de Kingston...
For me I cannot use this mouse for shooter games at all, browsing the web yea, it's fine. To me it's performing like a bog standard Microsoft mouse from back in the day of the first lasers. I've now sent this video to HyperX and await their response.
I put value for money 1/5 as this is what I'd consider a premium mouse and if it is in fact meant to be this way, I would consider the value poor as I need a new mouse, this is not playable for me.
Once I hear back from HyperX I'll change this review if need be, until then I will leave it as is.
Great response from HyperX, mouse was replaced and is working perfectly.
Luckily for me the lead from the keyboard just went to the back of where my PC is situated, and even more luckily for me the Elite keyboard comes with a USB pass through so i was able to plug the mouse into that!, with everything working AOK, phew!.
I had a play around with the mouse settings that is quit easy to suss out but i wanted to change the colour to match my PC set up colour(anal i know lol). After going to the HyperX site it forced me to download the HyperX NGenuity app from the Web store ?. Anyway i did that but discovered that this app needs to open ALL the time for the chosen settings to work(there is no way for the app to let you save the settings on the mouses memory ?). Anyway part 2 - I then went back to the HyperX site to get the HyperX NGenuity exe program for my Elite keyboard and to my de-lite i noticed i can change all the colours/settings for the mouse in there as well. So i got red of the stupid "app" version and just used the exe one. For the keyboard and mouse i can now set the 3 option types to my liking and they both save the info in its own memory!. As you can see by the 2 pics i have one for showing off the colour wave light show, and the other purple and green to match my PC RGB when looking through the glass side window.
Love the button on the top to change the DPI speed right away and also holding the same button plus a click of the wheel or the side buttons to change the saved RGB combo/brightness(after setting them up with NGenuity before of coarse).
I am waiting for a big mouse matt but it glides so smooth on the desk top and the pointer on the screen is so precise with the movement(even at the top DPI 3200, amazing)
A easy 5 STARS, frikken AWESOME!
However, the software is the worst I've ever had to deal with when using a gaming peripheral. I've been using a gaming PC but recently started using a gaming laptop while away to visit my family. I went to download the HyperX Ngenuity Software. I noticed that the usual software download was unavailable and that you could only download a beta version from the Microsoft store. As soon as I downloaded it and it asked me to download a firmware update it bricked my mouse.
That is right. It bricked my mouse. After searching the internet I found the hyperx reddit and it became clear many users were having this problem. HyperX's solution was to download another firmware update from their website and to not use Ngenuity in the meantime. What a joke. So now the RGB on my mouse doesn't work and I can't even use my DPI buttons.
When I found a .exe file of the old Ngenuity software I use with my PC I was happy to download it but found that, as soon as I'd customise the RGB and DPI settings, the left click would just stop working.
So now I'm left with a mouse that works but I can't even use half its features. What a joke. The HyperX devs said they'd "fix it and that there'd be an update in the next week" but with Cyberpunk 2077 just out it's not acceptable. I will never purchase another HyperX product again.
