The mat is durable and is easy to clean. My other mat used to get dirty and catch crumbs and the smooth surface on this mat allows dirt to be wiped off easily. The material that has been used to create this mat is thicker and especially soft. It feels very luxurious underneath your feet. The non-slip backing helps to hold it firmly in place. The foam layer offers extra support and will most likely stay thick and springy for a long time. It is also extremely comfortable to stand on for long periods of time while cleaning dishes or cooking. The color has a rustic look and matches perfectly to almost every kitchen. The mat’s heavy duty material will give us long lasting use instead of going through mats every few months. Ultimately, this is by far the best mat I’ve ever purchased and would recommend to family and friends!
This mat is super cushy and I’m very glad to have it. The day it arrived, I had been standing at the stove making jelly for several hours when my kids brought in the box. I told them to put it in my room, but after another 30 minutes, and as my feet began to ache even more, I thought to pull it out and really see how much a difference it might make. I honestly was surprised. I had an older mat that was certainly better than nothing, but thin enough I could still feel the floor through it. When I stand on this mat, the ache in my feet was noticeably relieved.
I also like the design on it - I love filigree, but most impressive is how cushy it is and the relief to my aching feet.
Be aware!! This is an exceptionally NARROW & thinner than expected mat. It never occurred to me to pay more attention to the width in particular because, well... why wouldn’t a kitchen mat be wide enough to stand on once butted up to the baseboard of the cupboards, at a sink, like “normal” sized mats? Well, IT IS NOT. You’ll literally stand on the outer lip of the mat if tucked underneath a very standard width bottom cupboard area. The last photo is the mat from Costco that is standard & twice as thick & MUCH better quality in every aspect, that I’m super sad that they no longer carry. I was excited about the length of this mat, but now understand why it’s a good price. To be a standard mat width, it would need another 4” or so in width! We’re going to use it in our basement wood shop. I would’ve never paid this much for a shop mat.
My wife has been wanted fatigue mats for years and I have been like do we really need them. I finally gave in and said sure why not but now we both kind of are regretting the purchase. While they are very comfortable to stand on and do work they are far from perfect. They like to constantly slide around and will not stay put plus I tend to trip over them a lot. So it is a love hate type deal. I suppose if I were to place grip tape on bottom that would stop the sliding issue but should not have to do that to make it work properly. Anyways hope this helps and thanks.
These rugs will save your back and feet if you stand for any amount of time in your kitchen or where ever you put them. I bought 3 of them the long one is in front of my sink and the 2 short ones or in front of my stove and the other in front of my island where I prepare all my food. If you are like me and freeze and can your vegetables these are a must have. I can actually stand straight and walk after a day of gathering from the garden then preparing and canning. Though I still feel some stress in my hip and back the pain is barely there and my leg is not swelled even half as bad. They are easy to sweep off and clean and are also nice and thick to give you good support. I highly recommend these rugs.
This Mat is amazing I love to cook and so have had a bunch of anti fatigue mats. This is by far the best the cushioning is just right and it doesn’t slip around on the tile floor. I took my chances with this because I’m use to paying triple the price of this for a kitchen mat. This by far is the best. Will order others to give to family members as gifts. Love it. Thank you
Just received our new mat. The color is great and love the inset pattern. It is very padded and comfortable on our feet! It's a soft, cushy, rubber type material, so it will clean off easily, as well. Looking forward to using it daily!
I rarely write reviews unless I love it or hate it. I searched for a long time before I decided on these mats. My ultimate decision was because it said they wouldn’t stick to my floors. Wrong! Although they are nice looking, look good in my kitchen, it’s like they are permanently stuck! I’ve had these less than 2 months. I went to pick them up to clean and they were stuck so hard one of them ripped on the bottom while I was gently trying to peel them off. So if you have carpet , they would be nice, if you don’t they stick very bad and leave rubber on your floor. Extremely disappointed!!
My back and feet often ache when I’m standing in the kitchen cooking for an extended period of time. This mat makes a huge difference! It’s nicely padded and feels great on my feet. It arrived rolled up, so it took a few hours before it laid flat on the floor, but it’s a perfect addition to my kitchen and a lifesaver for my back and feet!
