Great value. Nice rocks with a good variety of color- and even some different textures. The book is brightly colored with large pictures, which makes it really easy for even little kids to match up their rocks to the book pages. Good information is provided about the rocks in an easy-to-understand style. Lastly, the storage case seems sturdy and closes securely.

3.0 out of 5 stars Stones don’t match what’s in the guide.
Reviewed in the United States on 27 December 2020
This is a cute set but we seem to be missing some? We used the guide to learn about each one as we added them to the case it came with, which is great to have.
We easily identified the Pyrite and Desert Rose.
We think we identified the quartz but it’s not the same shape as listed in the guide. We didn’t receive anything that looks like the Tiger’s Eye. There’s one reddish brown stone that doesn’t look like Tigers Eye or Red Jasper so not sure what it is.
There’s a stone that might be Fluorite but it looks nothing like the pictures in the guide.
Hematite is there along with Rose Quartz and Snowflake Obsidian.
The guide lists Aventurine and we have what appears to be two variations of the green Aventurine.
The set contains the Green Zebra Jasper but like I said above, the reddish brown stone doesn’t look like the Red Jasper in the guide so we don’t have the Red Jasper.
We have the Calcite and Pumice. Then there’s a smooth blue stone that’s not listed in the guide and a rough light green stone that’s not listed in the guide.
We thought that each stone would be listed in the guide but that’s not the case. The pictures in the listing and on the box clearly show 15 different stones but the guide only lists 12 stones. We received 15 stones but not sure what a few of them are since they don’t match up to the guide. It’s a cute starter set but we wish they were all listed so we could learn about them all!
