I normally have a whole house arrificial filter which supposedly suspends scale not to stick to surfaces, well it does not work very effectively somehow water hardness being even worse lately, I had hair and skin problems.

I was very skeptical as this is times smaller than my whole house "filter" but eventually I can say it is so much more effective, now much softer showers and no more scale build.

I haven't installed this at the shower head, as you see in most pictures. I've installed mine between the shower bar and the hose which makes it much more unobtrusive. It works very well by softening the water and I felt the difference immediately.
