I'll give it three stars because it is so cheap. Luckily, it worked well for me because the location of the two studs in the wall happen to be exactly the center of where my TV needed to go. That allowed me to use the single piece mounting option. If not, the mounting bracket that goes on the wall is two pieces. The main one is barely over 16" long. So, if you need to mount and the center the TV on the wall bracket, and it doesn't line up perfectly, then you have to screw another piece on the wall bracket and screw two pieces to the wall/stud so that you can then center the TV on the wider, pieced together, wall bracket. I don't like that design for a larger, more expensive, TV. That was unclear to me when I ordered it. Maybe I should have read the description closer. As some other reviewer mentioned, you will need to tighten the screws in the tilting bracket so the TV doesn't fall forward in the fully tilted position if that's not how you want it. The spring loaded safety latches are nice but extremely frustrating if you are mounting a 75" TV. The small strap handles are not long enough to hang down past the bottom of the TV making it extremely difficult to unmount if you don't add additional string or something to them so you can easily reach them.

Easy Install, Basic Tools Required

You'll need a stud finder if mounting to a drywall or plaster wall. The anchors included are for concrete, cinder block, or brick. Find your studs and everything will go great. I leveled the bracket by using a pencil on my level. I located my studs with the stud finder, drilled small pilot holes to make it easier to screw in the bolts. I was able to use a ratchet with an extension to drive the bolts into the studs. I mounted a 55" flatscreen in my daughter's bedroom to free up the top of her dresser. They give you more parts than you'll need to accommodate various mounting situations, so you will have leftover parts. If you're like me, I save the extra parts in my tool box drawer in case we ever need to move it or for other uses. Nice bracket, good price. I would buy it again

Overall this is a suitable general purpose wall mount. I do like the 2 piece wall bracket option, for 16" or 24" stud spacing. This option is not very crucial behind a larger screen where the full length bracket is not exposed. It is more for the smaller screens that will leave a bit of the full-size bracket exposed if you have 16" stud spacing; you can leave off the extra bracket section.
For this wall mount to get 5 stars from me, it would need to be manufactured from heavier materials and have the corners welded to maximize rigidity and strength. For reference: I used this to mount a 42 inch plasma and it flexes a bit holding the weight; about 40lbs. I would not put this behind a 60" screen and definitely not a 75" as advertised max capacity. But ultimately, the weight of the screen is the capacity, not the size.

Too little clearance at the back for the cables

I do like how simple it is to install, it comes with a mini leveling kit. I just don’t like how little the clearance is from your TV to the wall. My HDMI cable is now pressed to the wall folding the cable , not sure how long my cable will last with this setup. I couldn’t return since I already installed the wall mount and I don’t want to go through the process again on a different mount.

It is presently mounted to a wall mount type part of an entertainment center, which my newly purchased 65" LG OLED G1 will mount to. I was surprised by the quality, it's definitely slightly a step up from the cheapest of the TV mounts.

The extender is a life saver and makes it much easier to install larger TVs. We did have to install a couple of boards behind it to get the full benefit of the tilting function - but it definitely wasn't necessary by any means and we have a shallow TV.

Good price and quality but beware with the tilt feature because if your TV is too heavy it will be inclined all the time unless you tighten the tilt screws which means that you can have the tv in one position only permanently. After the tv is positioned you cannot adjust the tilt screws unless you lift the tv off the wall bracket and adjust accordingly.

Flimsy garbage

Metal is very thin. The bracket comes in two pieces. For wider TVs like mine 64” you have to install an extra piece. I was able to find two studs and mounted with included screws that held nicely. Problem is that added piece is bolted on with tiny screws. That extra piece is separating from the wall because it bends. Worst bracket I’ve ever mounted.

It’s too difficult to plug in cables and I needed to use a pole to reach behind just to grab the straps to secure the bracket. I can barely fit my hand behind the TV. Also, it doesn’t come with a level, the instructions even say the level isn’t included.

I purchased this mount for the extension piece to mount a large 77in TV. Unfortunately that'a not possible because the edges of the large section are not straight, they are tapered, and because of this the extension piece will not sit flat and cannot be used. See images. Stay away from this mount
