Quality and environment
At Trangia, quality includes dedicated development in all areas of our business, including choice of material, manufacturing, design, performance and safety. The Trangia stove has always been produced in the mountains of Jämtland in the north of Sweden. With all parts of the company gathered in one place, close to nature, we can ensure that every detail in our camping stoves stands for true quality. Environmental thinking is self-evident to those of us who live close to nature. Our manufacturing is therefore environmentally optimised, including the water used during surface treatment undergoing total purification before leaving the factory. Packaging is manufactured from environmentally approved cardboard and is 100% recyclable. The cardboard is included in the German 'Der Grüne Punkt' system.
The name Trangia is derived from the village of Trång. It was decided to remove the circle above the “a” and then add “ia” for “in aluminum”. For decades, the name has been one of the outdoor market’s strongest brands both in Sweden and internationally. Trangia represents long experience, solid competence and modern design. The Trangia stove has during its 60 years been developed and refined. The Trangia stove is still manufactured in Sweden, in the same village where John E. Jonsson started the business 90 years ago. The proximity of the mountains has made practical tests in harsh weather conditions, a natural part of the business. Details have been modernized and function has been optimised. However, the original, ingenious design is still the key to today’s successful Trangia stove.

Titanium spoon absolutely shreds the pot. Cleaning it with a scrub pad wrecks it too. Not trying to eat aluminum every night, like its actually kinda worisome how much came off.
Doesn't clean well once its scratched.
It holds 1.75L filled to the brim, which is a pointless way to measure. Usable volume, especially since there is no handle is like 1.25L. Plus you'll have to carry something to hold it with.
While the price is great and so it the weight, its not really usable unless you cook and eat with a wooden spoon or like a thermoplastic one. I use Ti, I think most thruhikers use Ti. So stick with a Ti pot.
