I am really impressed with this stand. It was very easy to setup and came with everything I needed includeing the screws for the monitors. It even cam with a kit for curved monitors but since mine are flat I did use it. It also ha clips for cable managment. it was rather stiff at first but once you have hte monitors on it is much easier to manpulate. The monitors can turn and twist in any direction you want. I am using the clamp but it did come with a kit to mount it into the desk itself if you have a drill.
I definitly recomend this stand as long as you don't have a glass topped desk.
Like many people in the past year, I am working on improving my home office now that I am working from home regularly. I have two 24" displays on my desk which are not matching and the stands they sit on are bulky. I was expecting to pay significantly more for a dual display stand like this and for this price I didn't expect the quality product that VIVO has. The mount is very versatile and can easily fit a wide array of desks (although there are height limits. I was surprised at the weight of the product too. It is sturdy steel construction. Assembly was straight forward with a few different included allen keys. Attaching the displays was intuitive and it is great having them at the perfect height now. It has freed up quite a bit of desk space! I can't say enough good things about the quality of this product. It is well designed and engineered. The build quality is top notch. If you need a dual monitor mount, stop looking now! The fact it comes in black or white is just a bonus.
I wanted this to clamp to the back of my desk to give me 1) maximum distance from my monitors and 2) maximum space on the desk. It went together nicely and is a solid product. My desk is a sit/stand and I was smart enough to wait to order to make sure there was a lip for it to clamp to, but after I installed everything I went to lower the desk and the clamp and screw kept it from lowering completely. I had to reinstall it with the grommet mount method. It’s a really sturdy mount and it looks great. Much cleaner than the monitors on the desk. Having to use the other mounting option isn’t the fault of the product, I think it was my specific desk that fouled an otherwise brilliant plan. I’m still very happy with the product and I’m impressed that is is so sturdy even with the raising and lowering of the desk.
This initial review is only after a day's worth of use. So far, so good. The stand seems very stable and is holding my monitors just fine. I've set it up off-center, such that I am looking directly at one screen, and the other one is off to the side at an angle. Both my monitors are 24". My only problem (and an OCD one at that) is a manufacturing defect on the monitors, which makes aligning them at the same level impossible. I had this problem before when the monitors were on their OEM stands, so I cannot blame this issue on the VIVO stand. A minor gripe is that you cannot tilt the monitors without using the Allen key and adjusting it from the back. I don't think that I will need to tilt my screens up or down very often after the initial setup, so that is a trivial issue for me, but maybe more important for those who are sharing a computer and have different ergonomics.
I usually don't post review's but this time i couldn't stop myself , This is a very good product its sturdy , easy to assemble and really needed if you spend a lot of time on your table , I am a programmer so you can imagine . I spend a hell lot of time on my screens . 1) It makes your workstation looks amazing 2) The build quality is really good and its easy to Assemble
Now the best thing about this product is its service , specially the person named Hemil (Really appreciate the effort he took ) I was surprised with the service it was amazing . He went out the way to make sure if there was any issue with the product it gets resolved on priority , with me the issue was not a very big one but was a small build defect which he replaced on the spot and personally sent me an extra part of it to make sure the product is perfect , Now its working amazing .
I would recommend it to everyone and believe me its worth the money .
You know what. At the end of the day it does what it’s supposed to do. I’ve mounted 2 27” LG monitors and they look great. Clears up a bunch of desk space from the monitor legs being gone
Mounting process was a pain for me purely due to my desk. The C clamp wouldn’t fit because I have a metal bracket on the back side of my desk so I had to use the alternative mount of drilling a hole or you could use the grommet hole. Overall though this mounting style actually feels more secure in my opinion.
People who have rated this as 1-2 stars are expecting way to much. This is not a 300$ monitor mount. This is a basic monitor mount. You mount and set your monitors and that’s it. No gas or springs. So don’t expect to be able to move the monitors freely once mounted
I really needed something to clear up my desk since I've recently started a new WFH which I have my own PC and the studio's terminal, lots of wires, and new devices I needed to organize. I was more inclined to a gas spring option but Vivo has a very good reputation, the reviews on this one were just amazing, and as I found out, it's really easy to find the sweet spot and put everything together. It's extremely sturdy, clamps really well to the desk* and I highly recommend this one.
*ps: if you have a metal frame under the desk as mine do, the clamp doesn't have the clearance needed to attach it to the wood board -in my case, I needed around 1in- but it's still extremely sturdy even when you press it against the metal frame. Worst case scenario, my idea was to add a 1-inch thick wood board you can find on any home depot scrap bin for free and use it as a base to attach the clamp. Hope this helps people that had the same issue :)
I’ve been looking at dual monitor stand for a while, and wasn’t sure if I should get that or a different desk.
Having recently purchased a new monitor for gaming, I couldn’t figure out how to organize my desk anymore, since it is L shaped. Everything looked bad, over loaded and not aesthetically appealing.
Decided to go ahead and purchase this dual monitor stand based on reviews and price. After having it for a few days now I can say this is one of my favourite must have purchase that I wasn’t aware I needed that much.
For the price, this stand is amazing, easy to assemble with clear instructions and super sturdy! My desk is not even an inch thick therefor I was concerned on how solid it would be.
With both screens attached, I can say all those concerns went away quickly.
Also great cable management options! Due to my PC tower being further away and some cables being too short, I wasn’t able to hide all of them but otherwise everything provided with this purchase would be enough.
All in all, if you are looking for a dual monitor stand, or debating if you should get one, do it! It provides a super clean work station and easy to multi task.
So I've bought various monitor stands over 20 or so years for the office. And things have come a long way. I now blindly buy anything from VIVO, that's how solid these things are.
This item is a no brainer. I recently bought 3 of these and 3 of the single monitor stands. I will not rest until the office uses these everywhere. It's so much more zen to have no monitors or laptops cluttering up your desk. This clears up space to clutter it up with other junk.
The installation is a breeze. Even with 2 monitors it can be done by yourself easily. All tools are provided. The behind the desk clamp is so thin you can push it to the wall and wont even know it's there. The grommet clamp is extremely solid as well.
Make use of the cable management that comes with it. It's so much more zen to see no wires.
There's really not much else to say. These things are install once and forget. It doesn't say. It doesn't move. It stays solid forever if installed right. As I said it's built like a tank.
