This is a really great sturdy stand. It worked perfectly for my 27” inch LG screens. They thought of some great details with the stand, including the Allen key holder to keep the keys handy right on the pole. It also came with several clips for cable control. As you can see from the photos mine is mounted to my glass desktop, there were no issues in attaching it to the desktop the clamp has a full range of motion. It also has a grommet option which is well-built and secure although I didn’t use it in this particular case. I really like that the arms don’t need to extend well out into the room in order to have the two screens close together. I found many of the other arms were hundreds of dollars more, and took up a lot of real estate out the back of my desk. The stand would work particularly well if you have a little space between your desk and a wall, which is where other stands often fail. You really can’t beat this stand, when you add the fact that it is a quarter of the price of most quality stands, this really is a great buy.
Like many people in the past year, I am working on improving my home office now that I am working from home regularly. I have two 24" displays on my desk which are not matching and the stands they sit on are bulky. I was expecting to pay significantly more for a dual display stand like this and for this price I didn't expect the quality product that VIVO has. The mount is very versatile and can easily fit a wide array of desks (although there are height limits. I was surprised at the weight of the product too. It is sturdy steel construction. Assembly was straight forward with a few different included allen keys. Attaching the displays was intuitive and it is great having them at the perfect height now. It has freed up quite a bit of desk space! I can't say enough good things about the quality of this product. It is well designed and engineered. The build quality is top notch. If you need a dual monitor mount, stop looking now! The fact it comes in black or white is just a bonus.
I really needed something to clear up my desk since I've recently started a new WFH which I have my own PC and the studio's terminal, lots of wires, and new devices I needed to organize. I was more inclined to a gas spring option but Vivo has a very good reputation, the reviews on this one were just amazing, and as I found out, it's really easy to find the sweet spot and put everything together. It's extremely sturdy, clamps really well to the desk* and I highly recommend this one.
*ps: if you have a metal frame under the desk as mine do, the clamp doesn't have the clearance needed to attach it to the wood board -in my case, I needed around 1in- but it's still extremely sturdy even when you press it against the metal frame. Worst case scenario, my idea was to add a 1-inch thick wood board you can find on any home depot scrap bin for free and use it as a base to attach the clamp. Hope this helps people that had the same issue :)
Really recommend this mount. Personally don't think it can be beat for the cost. Even has cable harness' build in to hide the wires AND also hold all the allen keys used to adjust so you never have to go looking for them!
If I have one minor complaint its that if you are using monitors 23" or less (my two are 23") you cant have the arms straight out as there is a gap where they meet in the middle (whether or not that bothers you). So in my case I have to bend the arms slightly to bring the screens closer together which is very easy to do, it just means that my desk can no longer be flush against the wall.
They do also provide the optional grommet mount which would mitigate this, in my case I would have to drill a hole in my IKEA desk.
For those wondering, I have a standard IKEA desk that's about 3/4" thick and have zero issues with stability for the clamp that holds the monitors.
Overall really really good product and would recommend.
The only negative I have is that it has no design for desks that have a big void that allows you to wind it up and lock it into place properly (Such as my desk that raises up and down), I had to be creative and cut the right size wood block and put it between the clamp and the desk glass plate.
Other than that, when comparing to other stores like Office Works and what they have on offer, this dual monitor unit was worth every dollar.
It is amazing mount, was supper easy to install and looks amazing, I bought it in white for two stations for my office. But I still need one more of those mount in white and its not available in amazon :( checking every day with hope its going to be available
The mount itself is pretty sturdy and easy to assemble. I was pretty excited because I have a smaller desk area and wanted this product to free up some space. Unfortunately, this mount won't work unless you have the same type of monitors or 2 monitors with mounts in the same place. Also, the side to side motion of the arms is not that great in my opinion. Maybe this works better for smaller monitors.
Great mount so far.. I waited a long time for the white version and was happy it was available. It's solid and has pretty good motion. It can have some clicky sound when adjusting but I think it may be my monitor not fully tighten. Good idea to give it wall space because if you mount your monitors flush it'll need space in the back
UPDATE: Still going strong after a good few months. Great Buy
I own a couple of this that look similar but my first by VIVO. Quality is highest on this one. It is simple and meets my needs. Price/value equation is very good. Will see how it holds up over time but now that it is installed, my first impression compared to my other ones is that it is better.
