Bought these to use on a matt finish porcelain tile to hang flannels on. They have a sticky bit on the suction cup and that helps it to adhere to the surface. Twist the collar and the suction part sticks down to the surface to give a great hold. They've been up over 8 months now and the kids have pulled at them and they've not budged.

I've had other cheaper ones from eBay before which dropped off after a while but these ones are the ones to go for.

EDIT (Dec 2020): these are still up on the wall in the bathroom and don't budge at all. I've ordered another set to use in the other bathroom now that these have been thoroughly tested. Cannot recommend them enough.

You need a perfect surface to attach these to - but then they're fine.

Having white tiled bathrooms I don't like drilling holes to fix towel rails and the like - the rails will likely last less time than the tiles and when eventually replaced, ugly scars will be left sooner or later that are hard to disguise. My previous suction towel rings had started to fail and these looked particularly nice replacements, the fitment being all but hidden by the towel itself when in use.

Theory is fine, but practicality was that these are the fussiest suction caps that I have ever come across. Following all the instructions (short of isopropyl alcohol), I had great difficult in getting these to adhere strongly enough to a glazed tile to support the weight of a towel. It would do so initially, but having lulled me into a false sense of security it would crash to the floor some hours later - usually in the middle of the night.

I very nearly gave up and sent them back, but eventually I seemed to get it right and they stayed put. If you can get that far then they're good. But be aware that you will need the smoothest cleanest perfect surface to start off with . Otherwise look elsewhere.

I just love these!

Make sure to follow the instructions when and you will be pleased. One thing I can suggest is to screw it close before installing so you can see at what position to put the suction cup on. I didn't do this the first time around and my hook winded up being sideways. It fixates at a certain position, use the transparent thingies on the side as guide to determine at what position to put it on the wall.

It has been 4 months since I installed these and they are as strong as ever, nothing has moved or fallen off.

I can highly recommend this product.

I really wish I could write a positive review on these however I can’t. They arrived well packaged and looked quite attractive, robust/strong. Well made etc so things were promising . Wanted to fix one to a glass panel in my walk in shower to hang a bath brush on. I followed the instructions - dry clean surface etc and attached the hook to the glass. It stayed there approx 2 hrs then fell off. I re fixed it, went to bed, following morning it had fallen off again. I re read the instructions, yes I was doing everything correctly so re fixed it again and 3 hrs later it fell off !! Have now given up and returned it for a refund. Have ordered another by a different manufacturer. 🤞🏻for that one !

First Class product. Slightly bigger than I had expected. No installation instructions provided but.. clean the surface thoroughly, (I used isopropyl alchol) remove the protective film from the suction pad, place the unit firmly on the surface, whilst pushing the hook, rotate the body clockwise until it clicks. Job done. I've installed them on glass and tile and the hook will support several kilos without slipping. I've not removed them yet but I'd guess the process is reversed and there's a small tab on the plastic suction surface to assist with removal.
