This product worked for me - for about a month. Despite working with tech support who determined my product was faulty, WD would not replace the item unless I sent it in - bear in mind that it held the contents of my entire hard drive on it which, due to the faultiness of the product, was incapable of being erased. Apparently, there are exceptions where you can destroy the device, provide evidence of such and get a replacement but this was denied for unknown reasons.
Update: I continued to ask for help, and after 21 emails, multiple calls and the passage of seven weeks, the company replaced the broken hard drive.
