Me desilucionó mucho. Hoy pedí devolución. Le regalé una estrella porque está muy bonita pero para qué quiero bonito si no sirve :(
I bought this to replace an older Cuisinart pan that has stopped being nonstick. The disappointment is the handle, it’s tiny when compared to the handle on the old pan, and the small size makes it much more difficult to use, it’s just too small. I looked at all the 10” pans they offered and bought the most expensive one I could find.
I recently bought their 12” pan also, it has the same handle, maybe it’s sized for the president’s hands, they be tiny too. Charge more and give us things that work. How hard is that? What were you thinking? Old pans were great, these are junk, and you had to know...
I bought this pan to do scrambled eggs, but it doesn't work well for that. I put butter in the pan first, then the eggs, and when I stir, they slide around so much they almost spill out of the pan. If you do manage to get them cooked, when you rinse the pan out little pieces of scrambled egg will get caught between the pan and the handle, making it very hard to clean properly. IMHO, this is a poor handle design.
I was happy with the pan the way it was made, and how sturdy the handle, etc was. It was advertised dishwasher safe, but one time in the dishwasher and outside turned "white". It was not our dishwasher, water or soap, because nothing else did that. Pretty disappointed because of the cost and I wanted something that was made in the USA.
I bought many items from Cuisinart, but this specific one has design and material problems sure. The most striking feauture is its chnage in shape/flatness after heating for some time. I am little disappointed.
This Pan is NOT RECOMMENDED. The exterior is not durable - scratches very easily. Pan warps very badly (very noticeable and very irritating on a smooth top range) - warps way worse than a cheap Wearever Aluminum griddle that it replaces, and that I bought back in 1980. The only good comment I can make is the non-stick cooking surface is good. I did not notice but this pan must have been made in China. I should have have bought the CIRCULON griddle - I have had much more success (especially with the warping) with the CIRCULON brand.
Burned the crap out of my fingers because the handle on the top has no rubber lining on it. When heating something up for a substantial period of time the metal handle gets very hot. In my case I was simply boiling some water. This is something I should have been smart enough to see before I ordered it. If Amazon allows me to return it I will. Otherwise the saucepan seems fine. Beware fellow chefs!!
First off let me say it does look like it’s well made. I use the griddle on our glass top electric stove and after my first use- the griddle did not sit flat on the stove anymore (warped). Of course being warped it doesn’t heat evenly across the griddle because not all the surface is in contact with the burner. I expected better from the Cuisinart brand. Basic fail!
