Great quality no doubt . Will give it 4 starts. but on second thought cooking in aluminium worries me. Even though its technically baking and not cooking I would not prefer aluminium. I regret not seeing the lodge cast iron pan before buying this or else would have Bought that.
This was my first USA pan product and decided to go with this brand after some research. I've used it about 6 times now and really like it. The only thing I find a bit more difficult is cleaning the corners, sometimes some bread gets stuck in between the corners and it can be a little hard to clean. I assume this is generally the case with all tins like this that aren't rounded.
I try to clean it with a tooth pick and tissue, as well as soaking it with warm water. Maybe covering it fully with baking paper would prevent this but I prefer not to do this. Sometimes I line it with two strips of paper (one in each direction, instead of one whole). I ended up purchasing the small pullman loaf too, as I wanted something a little deeper. Thinking about purchasing more products as I like the brand so far.
Overall great product, just hard to clean the corners when bread gets stuck in there! Another thing, maybe packaging could be a little more protective. Mine already had a few marks/dints on it which I am guessing is due to the shipment and that it didn't really have protective packaging around it (just in a paper envelope and wrapped in plastic).
We love this tin. It bakes everything so evenly and gives our loaves such a nice colour. The tin itself is so sturdy and we know thats because of how it’s made/folded. What we don’t like is how water gets trapped in those creases and folds. Otherwise an amazing high quality product.
