I went for T-Fal titanium nonstick for its renowned quality but was deeply disappointed despite taking excessive care and following instructions, like only using medium heat, handwashing with the non-scratch side, silicon spatulas, seasoning it regularly (who does that ?). I was stir frying spinach and forgot for a moment and then the burns appeared. Tried everything from soaking overnight to baking soda but to no avail. The convex base is also very annoying as oil flows to the circumference. I've rough housed $20 nonstick pans with sharp utensils and high heat and had them last longer.
terrible product, base of pan has high spot therefore causing a hot spot and uneven cooking I did return the first pan hoping replacement would be better but it was exactly the same. The glass lid is also very poor, has a handle with not enough insulation so I kept burning my fingers on it. Also when in use there is a lot of condensation build up which runs down lid and into the hot oils in the pan and spits and splashes so badly you need goggles and safety equipment to use it..
The size is perfect for me. Also the lid is good. But I received the new pan with two long scratches and two round spots that like the coating coming off. Like a used pan. What I really feel annoying is I don’t have a car, I have to carry it and walk 2.5km to return or changed it.
we bought this pan the second time, since we were so happy with the first one. This time the bottom is not flat. The center is higher, oil runs to the site. Not sure if that is a single failure or if others see similar problems, we will not buy it again, there are other options.
This is just a four-month-old pot, but when I cooked a regular dish a few nights ago, the glass lid EXPLODED!!! I just added water in the pot hoping to make a stew, so no it was not overheated. Good thing it only cut my finger. THINK TWICE BEFORE YOU BUY IT!!! Or just don’t buy it at all if you wanna live.
