It is doing what I need it to do but it isn't metal. Perhaps the exact marketing never said solid metal but it was implied. I just hope I'm not replacing another plastic replica in a year.

It functions as needed but the shower head holding part is definitely not universal. It's much smaller than our shower head and barely holds it. To add to that, don't expect it to moderate your water pressure because it has nothing built in to it. It's literally just a tube with a holder and it barely does that job.

Pretty easy to install. I would just want to check your shower head width before buying. I’ve never had a detachable shower head so I bought this at the same time I bought the shower head. The shower head does not fit INSIDE the piece it kind of sits at the top of it. If I adjust it at all the shower head falls out. I can say the material is pretty solid and doesn’t feel cheap

I replaced one identical to it that broke this is made of plastic so don’t expect it to be very durable. No matter how much I tightened this the weight of the shower head made this slim down would not stay up being it was plastic I didn’t want to risk over tightening it and breaking it. But it will work as a quick fix.

I actually had a hard time installing, honestly can’t tell if it’s because of my current shower or not. The water leaks when I shower. I’m not sure if it’s not tight enough or just needs that tape to keep it from leaking.
