Not dependable... Printed just 35 or 38 pages from a fresh set of catridges. See http://www.canon.co.in/mobile/personal/productthese are absurdly priced. s/supplies-ink-cartridges CANON has started to fade out and pull out most of the cartridges out of market. There is no guarantee we'll continue to get these cartridges in coming months. secondly, With these, when u get some 40 pages from a set of BW and Color cartridge, (total : 2300 plus rupees), the per page printing cost will be 70 to 80 rupees!!!
Extremely bad and highly overpriced. The cartridge gives you 40-50 pages of print - ink dries up very fast if you are not printing for a week or so. Per page printing cost goes up to 70-80 rupees. Completely unsustainable. You got sucked in to buying a cheap printer but the consumable cost is atrocious! A BW and color combo cost nearly 3000 rupees which could barely give you print of 50-60 pages. I am now thinking of throwing the printer away. I would have given it a negative star otherwise.
Pros: Works well. Print Quality is Decent. Far Better than HP or equivalent. But it is pricier than competition.
Cons: Dries Fast if Not in Use. The Ink Quantity is Very Less as well. Expensive
Tip: If you like Canon Quality, Get yourselves the Bigger Cartridge. And find a Cheaper Seller
Personal Experience I tried to go the cheaper route by manually filling the cartridge with Printer ink. Although it saves you a LOT of money, The sensors will stop work. You will no longer be able to view your Ink Levels, digitally.
Overpriced product by Canon. But having a compatible printer, I have no other option but to shell out 1300 for every hundred pages of printing. I am glad that printer manufacturers are bringing in ink technology to make cost per page more economical. Canon should listen to such customers too and make these legacy cartridges available at a more economical price.
