The shower head works well as advertised, lights and all. My disappointment is that the bracket that you screw onto the water pipes and that the hose screws into is made of plastic. The hose on the other hand is steel, so if someone tries to cut it, it is armored, but the part that screws into the pipes, the part you would want to be strong and secure, is made of plastic. If you don't overtighten it as the instructions warn against, it works fine. I just have this nagging feeling that it was not produced with durability in mind

This is the "luxury" edition of their other showerhead. HotelSpa All Chrome 5 Setting LED/LCD Handheld Shower-Head with Lighted LCD Temperature Display by Top Brand Manufacturer! Color of LED lights changes automatically according to water temperature odes where this one has 7. This one only lights up, as described in the product description. The other model also has a digital temp read out. Upgraded from the 5 to the 7 rain intensities. ALMOST easier than I could have wished for... I thought I could simply swap showerheads but as it turns out the metal hose that matches the showerhead is what needs swapped (as well).
Presuming your old shower head isn't hard water WELDED in place, this is a no tools installation. If you need a tool it would be a channel lock and a cloth to keep from damaging the finish on the old connection. Be sure to clean ALL of the old teflon tape from the existing pipe threads before adding the new, included in the box, teflon. Remember wrap the tape same direction you are tightening the NEW connection. 2 wraps is plenty, more than 3 and you are asking for trouble.

We like our shower heads. We purchased 2 for our guest bathroom and master baths. However, after about 6 months, ours in the master bath started squealing and making a horrible noise. I took it down and use CLR on it because I thought it might be due to hard water, but that didn't help either. The shower head in the guest bath room still works great, but it is rarely used.
I recommend the product, but we are dissatisfied w/ the product currently. If I could get someone from the company to assist us, that would be great. Nothing worse than waking up to take a shower and thinking about your day and having a squealing in your ear. Irritating as hell.

Definitely like this one. Simple system - takes a second to adjust to the water temp, then displays an LED color corresponding to the temperature of the water, and is brighter or softer depending on how much water is passing through.

Cold - Blue
Warm - Green
Hot - Red

It gets brighter the more water goes through it, and darker the less water there is.

Has a few reasonably decent settings, from a mist (which is pretty intense) to a powerful concentrated spray, with the usually expected settings in between, some of which are quite cozy. Doesn't leak much, tightens up easy, and was easy and quick to install for someone with even a small amount of experience.

Colors change as advertised, bought this to help my kid understand temperature better and it has worked. Build quality seems durable not cheap and plastic. The strong shower stream is decent, can't tell a difference beyond that one. The mist is great, the massage setting is pretty weak. When I flip through the types I only seem to have 4 patterns, might be because the shower streams are too similar. The mount is the only thing that feels cheaply made.

Also I wish it had the option to set a static color instead of changing with the water temperature. I also wish I could change the "green range" about 5 degrees fahrenheit warmer, as green feels very lukewarm to me and I usually have to ride the green-red line to have comfortable warm water.
