Sturdy, and does not take up much space in closet. It got my shoes off the floor but, I could only fit one shoe in each compartment. Also worked for handbags that can be folded up.

I like the idea of this and I have had these types of hanging shoe racks in the past. I wanted this to be great but its just ok because it is so small. The pocket shelves are so small that in most cases you can only fit one shoe at a time. This is why it isn't great. I would have preferred the pockets to fit a pair of shoes each and mostly it can do that only for flip flops and flat sandals but not running shoes or leather type of booties or bigger shoes that aren't able to go flat like cloth. So even though I am using it and its ok it could be much better if the pockets were wider. It could also be a bit more durable overall. It is pretty flimsy. But still ok.

I thought from the pictures that this would hold 8 pairs of shoes. It has 8 sections and the picture looked wider. But, this item clearly only holds one shoe per section. I tried to flip the shoes on top of each other and that didn't work, the spaces are just too narrow and small. The bottom section is even more strange and barely fit one shoe. I need something now before guests arrive so it will have to do, but I wouldn't recommend it.

I ordered this unit to replace a very dirty Mainstays shoe holder I've had for many years. Mainstays has changed their design to where you have to remove the clothes pole to slide their rack onto the pole. I like the hooks on this unit because it's easy to just hook it to the clothes pole. The compartments in this unit are much smaller than my old one. With most shoe styles, I need separate shelves for each shoe instead of being able to get a whole pair into a single compartment. This unit is only half the length of the space between my standard height clothes pole and the floor, so it leaves an awkward narrow unusable space below it, not very efficient. I wish this item had more shelves with larger compartments.

I wear a size 12 men’s shoe. As you can see from my photo, each compartment will only hold one shoe, not 2, as suggested in the advertising. I can only assume that the original photos were taken with a size 6-8 Women's.

Well, I actually don’t mind vertically stacking each shoe in the compartments, one by one, I didn’t pay $20 to be able to store only four sets of shoes. Had this item been priced for $10, I think it would’ve been a much more decent value. As it stands I’m returning it and going to IKEA.

UPDATE - IKEA in my area is out of stock on their similar (but slightly larger and much more affordable) option, so I decided to keep this as a compact 4-shoe shelf.

I'm in college and using this for quick storage. If you dont have small shoes or only wear hightop, dress shoes, or boots. This is not for you. I barely have enough room to put my vans in with them on top of eachother. The material already ripped too so now i lost a slot. Great for something cheap but not to good saying storage space is super small

Only get this if you own sandals or slim pairs of shoes. For boots, running sneakers, men's shoes, I can't imagine how they would fit unless you put them each in their own individual box. Not going to bother returning this but don't recommend - go with a product that will actually fit your shoes

Not a fan of this product. It was cheaper and fit in with my budget. When assembling the hanging part up top it had some sort of nasty grease on the metal. Got all over my hands and the fabric. The slots are ALOT smaller than I expected. I don’t recommend
