Pros - ease of assembly & Extremely solid. Lots of adjustability - the included allen keys are a bonus, and the cable router/ allen key holder on the main post are a nice touch. This stand allows for plenty of room above my main monitor. I think I may buy another for a 2nd 27" above the 49" Samsung - The extra screens really help with what I do. I buy too much, and review too little, but 2 thumbs up on this product!
Must have if u want to mount a surplus monitor on top of a wide screen monitor. I've a Acer predator X34p 34 inch wide monitor... I have also side mounted my oldest AOC 22 inch monitor and had another surplus AOC 23 inch monitor... It was driving me crazy 2 not be able to use it... So in came this tall monitor mount... And as you can see my setup looks like a workstation now... Although I only use it for gaming... LOL... Its just amazing to have so much real estate available on a multi monitor setup... I have my system widgets running on the side monitor and have webpages loaded on the top... While playing games or youtubing on the main monitor in front... Thanks Vivo for these little goodies...sturdy construction
Allows for a huge range of motion and is very compact when pushed against a wall. My only issue is that if you're using a monitor on the bigger side of the mentioned range it could use some additional support between the clamp and desk. It was very hard to tighten the clamp underneath and before i added additional support it would lean ever so slightly to one side. Additionally i found it difficult to have the arm adjusted in a way that allowed for easy movement and also for it to be sturdy. When i have the monitor set all the way to one side it would just slide back to a more neutral spot. This could've been due to the lack of support rather than the arm itself. Lastly, if you're using with a desk where the desktop is not securely fastened to the stand , like a lot of ikea desks, be careful you don't put excess weight on the back side of desk or push up as it easily gets off balanced and could disassemble the desk if you're reckless.
I got this for my 27" monitor. Very solid. I have a standing desk and I so I switch from standing and sitting in a drafting chair. I have a sweet spot where all I adjust is the tilt depending on sitting or standing.
If you don't need rapid height adjustment this mount is great. Though you could leave the clamp a bit loose and then you could slide the arm up and down grabbing from the base with a bit of applied force (you wouldn't want it so loose that it wiggles down the shaft from regular use).
The tilt is not properly described, this one was a bonus for me. When it said 15 degrees I assumed that would be 15 degrees either way from 90. But it actually tilts TO 15 degrees. I love overkill!
One thing I would have liked is a 0 indication on the back of the mount at the pivot point so I could square the monitor without eyeballing as there is no physical feeling that lets you know.
So I searched a lot for a monitor arm that has swivel and two elbows for the best experience. Almost no monitor arm advertises that they work with ultra wide monitors. Well, I saw that this arm supports 22lbs or something like that and my LG 32" ultra wide is only 16lbs so I gave it a go. This thing is great. It fully supports my giant monitor with ease, no sagging at all. Very well built and heavy duty, easy to put together and install, and best of all its very inexpensive. I would highly recommend anyone get this mount. The only complaint I have about this is that the advertised weight limit on the Amazon page is higher than what is written on the box of the product. I don't know which one is right, but one this is for sure and it can easily hold a 16lb ultra wide monitor.
I have two monitors and wanted a stacked setup but one of the monitors I own is not VESA compatible which meant the normal dual monitor mounts would not work for me. This seemed like the next best option for me and I must say I was not disappointed.
Pros + Mount is sturdily built from quality materials + Cable management clips also double as storage for the Allen keys required to make adjustments to the mount so they are always accessible + Easy assembly + Highly adjustable so it's simple to position the monitor exactly where I want it
My only gripe is that this mount does not use a quick release bracket which makes mounting/unmounting a monitor difficult without an extra set of hands, although I managed to do it on my own. All in all, a great purchase if you need the extra tall pole.
