To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we do not use a simple average. Instead, our system considers things like how recent a review is and if the reviewer bought the item on Amazon. It also analyses reviews to verify trustworthiness.
We are moving. Again. Ah, the life of a pastor’s family. Anyway, we once again are faced with the dilemma of whether or not to try to bring everything or to cut back on what we own. We obviously decided that we could stand to lose a few things and so it is time for a massive garage sale and donating.
That’s where these come in. I ordered the pack of 2100 stickers, knowing that my 3 year old would steal a fair amount of them, which she did. Sigh. Either way, this was more than enough for a garage sale. I like the variety of colors, I used them to separate my items into categories but it would be a great way to divide up whose stuff is whose. I do wish that the colors were on different sheets though.
They stick pretty well on a variety of different surfaces. I have not run into an issue yet where they have come off of an item. The colors stand out nicely, making them easy to find when looking for a price. Size is good, I don’t think I would like them any larger, but I definitely wouldn’t want them and smaller. They are just big enough to be noticed, but not so big they overtake the item.
Taking them off of items is a little tricky since they do stick so well. They seem to leave a sticky residue more times than not and often the paper top will tear off only instead of the entire thing. That being said, you may want to place the stickers in an inconspicuous area. However, if you take a hair dryer to it (or even hot breath will work), the adhesive loosens and it peels off easier. Much like any sticker, they come off of things like hard plastic easier than, say, cardboard.
I didn’t use these in a printer at all, so I can’t say anything about that, but hand writing prices on them is easy enough. They take the ink just fine and don’t smear once dry.
I would recommend these to others and am happy with my purchase.
No disclosure needed - I am a “reviewer” of Amazon products and often get things at a discount, however this item I have bought at FULL price for my own personal use. Thank you for reading my review!
I have used Avery for every label I have ever printed myself. I was a little intimidated by going away from he tried and true, but I wanted this exact size and color. Avery has some very complex software that can do all Kinds of special sequencing and can save time when doing special characters and long sequences of numbers and/or letters. That bing said, it can also be overly complex. There were two file types available for download from the site/link that is included in the packaging. One was an Adobe file I was not familiar with and the other was a word document. I would have preferred an excel editor, so that is the one star reduction. They did have a few different number and letter sequences, but didn’t have the exact one I needed. I was able to make it work with a copy and paste function because one of the templates was half right for my needs. I would not want to hand key these as it would be a pain. However, if you have some highly repeatable stickers or very simple numbers or letters in sequence these will work. They were easy to peel but did stick very well. For this application I’m sticking them on smooth plastic key tags and have not tried removing them.
Initially I was very disappointed in these as they would not align at all and I ended up wasting five sheets.. that's a LOT of stickers! In frustration I gave these one star and moved on to something else, then it occurred to me that maybe that was happening because I had downloaded and saved the template to my computer and the PDF program had somehow modified it. I went back in downloaded and printed directly from the Garagesale site and they were perfect! I knocked off a star for the five sheets lost and the frustration. Very satisfied otherwise.
I like these tags for using to price my jewelry. The downside is that you do not get very many pages. Also I used a template and it was not true to form so my labels printed fine for 3/4 of the page and then they did not print correctly in the circles. They are pricey for the amount of pages you get.
They work great but the adhesive is a little stronger than we wanted. Used them (after printing them using the downloadable templates) in an estate sale. I had trouble getting them off of some surfaces like glass but that did keep them from "falling" off. And if you put the price on the bottom of the item no one would ever know.
The stickers are just what I wanted. The template is incorrect. I used the InDesign AWL template, the top 6 lines of circles are too low. To test the alignment - I printed a test run on plain paper. Then I placed the sticker sheet over the test sheet and held up to a bright window. I could see the alignment issue, made the corrections in InDesign, retested, then printed on the stickers. The end result looked great. Would have given 5 stars if the template had been correct.
These neon stickers were perfect for a garage sale. I used a regular Sharpie to write prices on them and there was barely enough space for 3 characters due to the wide tip and my handwriting, but it worked. I wouldn't recommend getting these if you need to write more than that - or maybe just use a finer tip. I think they work best for color coding when you don't need to write too much on the stickers. The colors are bright, as pictured, and stand out against most background colors.
These stuck well to most surfaces, but kept falling off a few items made of vinyl or cloth. They also stuck a little *too* well on some smooth surfaces like ceramic, to my unpleasant surprise. A little scraping got them off, but they did leave a bit of sticky residue. Just be careful about where you place them, and have some residue remover handy.
I was happy that I bought these, and there were plenty leftover for future sales. My only regret was that I didn't purchase them in the bundle with the signs.
I wanted stickers to use for a yard sale. I have gone through two packs of name brand stickers and was frustrated by the fact that when I used the template, the beautiful set up on my computer was NOT what printed out. I decided to try this brand after buying a no name brand that did not fit in my printer. While the template is easy to load onto the computer, it is cumbersome to use. I had to type all 140 prices onto the page---no copy and paste for this template and no fill all option like the name brand. I did cheat a little; once I got a page formatted like I liked, I just saved a copy and changed the 25¢ to 75¢ then to 50¢; saving each page as I went along. I like the size and the neon color. Also, the gray circle on the template DOES print out on your labels and they are NOT in the exact center of the label,
