Overall, I am happy with this set of cable clips. The only thing that I would change about them if I could, would either be to state clearly on the packaging shown in the pics here that the space for the cables to be inserted into, is not the same size on all of the clips, or to offer a set of these with your choice that would be able to accommodate small cables or a set that would accommodate regular cables. I wasn't aware that only certain clips could be used with certain cables. I couldn't necessarily just use the clip I wanted to use. My phone and Samsung Tab A cables, for instance, are very thin. So they wouldn't stay in the clips that had larger openings (like the single clips). Conversely, my Echo Dot (2nd gen), and my Kindle Fire HDX (3rd gen) cables wouldn't fit into the clips I had to use to secure my thin-cabled Samsung phone and Samsung Tab A. I had intended on using the clip with 4 cable spaces for those 4 things since they are located in the same place. Instead, I had to use a couple of different clips on that surface. It's not a big deal for me, but maybe it will be for you. Also, it is NOT easy to place/remove the thinnest cables into/from the clip that they fit into (the two slotted one). That is a good thing on the one hand, if you don't need to regularly remove your cable from the clip, as it's pretty secure. If your cable is not long enough so that you need to remove it to use the item it's plugged into, it still works, but it's a bit frustrating to try to jam the cables back into the slots. I find this only to be the case with the two-slotted clip I use for the thinner cables. Again, not a deal-breaker for me. If you have arthritis in your hands however, you might really struggle with this.. and you can't use a clip with a larger slot, because a thin cable literally slides right out. One other note.. these clips will not work with flat cables. I only have a few things with flat cables, so it's not a major issue for me, and I'm thinking there are probably cable clips out there that work for those.
The adhesion is great, especially considering some of my clips are on the slightly textured surface of the Table Mate table. I waited to make this review for a couple of months in order to judge their stickiness well. In summary, the clips do exactly what I need them to do, even though I had to choose specific ones from the package based solely on slot size. My cables are securely in place, and my cables have been wrangled to no longer be the mess they once were.
I was really skeptical because there are a lot of reviews saying that the adhesion is not very strong, but I ordered any way and am really glad I did! Even if the adhesion isn't strong, there are so many in this pack, that I will be able to use them for the next year. I have had one on my desk for at least a week and it hasn't fallen off once. Works perfect to hold my phone cord. Definitely would buy again.
Update: It is 8-24-2020 and the little sticky on my desk is still holding strong. Definitely a good buy 😀
The openings are considerably larger than that of competitors which makes it inefficient for some chargers (Apple chargers can rotate and slide right out). If they weren’t as affordable as they are, I’d probably return them for that reason.
This is a good idea in general. We all have tons of cables that we need to tuck away or organize somehow.
1) The adhesive seemed to release too easily at first and then in another occasion it stuck hard before it was fully placed/positioned. 2) It turns out that the opening that holds the cable, doesn't really hold all the cables. I even put tape over them and they still slide out. With them already sliding out so early on (no wear required to do that) I can see that a different system will be required soon. 3) It was a nice idea to get several sets for the money but if the cables don't stay-in, you can't really use it well for the thin cables. 4) In an effort to make them useful I put two near each other in each area to help 'hold them down' but it didn't work
Note: If your cables are thicker like a printer cable or something like that - it seems ok, but I needed mine for phones and charging cables of various sorts and those (in my case at least) are all pretty thin.
Effective little holders, and you get a lot for your money. Husband used the multiple-slot mounts to organize a jumble of thin wires on his electronics bench. My favorites are the single mount round ones to hang toothbrushes on the inside of the medicine cabinet. Hold regular and electric toothbrush heads as you can see in the photo.
These work great so far! Put them on the side of our night stand to put our phone chargers through so we don't have to fish them off the ground every time we need to plug them in. We've had them on for about 3 months now and the adhesive seems to be working really well. I also used some at work to manage some chargers and cords on my desk. Great assortment and value for the money!
I had to run a lot of internet cable from one side of a large room to the other to go from my router to my desktop. I did not want to put more holes in the walls for cable hooks. After much research I bought two packs of these and they are just about the perfect solution. I used 10 of them to secure the cable on the perimeter wall and ceiling and so far so good. It's a great solution for my temporary problem. They hold the cables very well and so far everything has stuck.
