Not for the oven! The product info clearly says it's oven safe up to 350f but it arrives in packaging that says it's not suitable for the oven. So I emailed them, and they said "it is oven safe up to 350f but we don't recommend you put it in the oven" False advertising.
It is however, a really really nice pan. I almost kept it for stove top use because it is so nice, but I need something I can use in the oven so I'm returning it. If you don't care about the oven thing, I'm pretty sure this will impress you. Nice and deep. Lots of room.
But after a month of usage, signs of wear and tear already shows. Which shows that it’s not the best quality.
It is easy to wash, yes. It is versatile, yes.
BUT see the video I posted, the handle got wobbly after just ONE MONTH of usage??? There are also brownish stains on the handle that I can’t seem to wash off at all. I think the “wood” changed color due to the heat?
I previously bought a small pan from this manufacturer and love it, so I decided to add another pan that is larger. We are very disappointed in the new pan. The bottom is not flat but warped. My wife went to cook some fish and the oil ran to the edge of your the pan leaving the center of the pan dry. I took a straight edge to the bottom of the pan to verify it was warped. I will have to return the pan.
I used this pan on my gas cooktop, set to medium-high heat. Within a few minutes I smelled something burning, and unfortunately it wasn't the food. While the pan seems okay so far, the handles aren't built to last.
This item is generous in size and has a really nice bowl shape but is surprisingly heavy when paired with the lid. I would have LOVED to try out the Granitestone properties but I didn't even open the plastic wrap because the two pourspouts will no doubt put out excess steam. The lid doesn't provide a seal for the spouts and yet it already has a dedicated hole for venting - so it seems like a design flaw and it will drive me crazy with every use unless unlidded. With clean sides and sans pourspouts this would be a keeper to try out for sure!
For a non stick pan this one sure sticks to food. The idea is to have less oil however with this pan you would have to either spray it all over with cooking spray of ad a ton of oil to keep the food from sticking. One positive thing is It does heat up fast and keeps the temperature even
