Toner is good, printer is terrible

The toner is not bad. the only issue is with the printer. I do not recommend buying HP. for the past 2 weeks, every time I need to print something, I spend 1 hour trying to run troubleshooting. It is a 2-year-old printer, so I would have expected it to work. The model is M28-31. I used to print often, so I always bought the toner ahead. Now I am sitting on an 80% full toner in the printer and a brand new unopened one that can't be returned, so I wasted a lot of money. If you have the option, don't buy any HP printer. If you already have it and need this toner, make sure to only buy a new one AFTER the old one is over. Chances are the printer will break before you use the whole toner and you will end up like me, having to toss it away.

A las 250 páginas aproximadamente me llego un mensaje indicando que había un nivel bajo de tinta, pensé que era un error, pero después de unas 50 páginas más, comienza a verse muy borrosa la impresión. Es una estafa pagar por algo supuestamente original y terminar con un producto defectuoso. No se arriesguen comprando este producto.

Stopped working after less than 100 pages printed

I bought the toner cartriges as a spare. After less than 100 pages, it has stopped working properly. It now prints half and full pages black and no document is readable. I had to purchase another one locally and works as expecteted. I am writing this review as the time has expired for me to reach out directly to amazon.

Considering we only print occasionally - kids' homework, a few bills, etc... we were surprised this only gave us about 3 months of ink before receiving a message saying toner was very low. Are there better alternatives that cost less?? Considering what we paid for the printer, it doesn't seem worth replacing the toner at this price. ($65 approx.)
