To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we do not use a simple average. Instead, our system considers things like how recent a review is and if the reviewer bought the item on Amazon. It also analyses reviews to verify trustworthiness.
The Uncaged Ergonomics EZ is not an ergonomic product at all. It only looks fancy in the way it’s described. The images are mismatched. The edge of the top plate on which one can place the laptop actually prevents the hands from resting comfortably and will give you a lot of pain very soon. The product is not stable if you use a mid sized laptop while the claim is that it’s stable. I complained to the seller, who didn’t respond and after frequent calls to Amazon, they finally called back saying they can’t take the product back because it’s imported, while the policy states the return can be accepted. A lot is said but not meant in the same way. Amazon, equally, does not take responsibility. This is such a poor experience overall. DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT, ITS A FRAUD AND IT WILL CREATE AN ERGONOMIC RISK FOR YOU.
I received this today and personally a few things I don't really like: 1. The button's don't click into place even at the specified angles. It takes multiple adjustments back and forth before it clicks into place. 2. You have to adjust each of the six dial buttons one by one. It would make sense if your could adjusts the corresponding one on the other side simultaneously but the arrow on the button get covered up with by your thumb and you have to look at the dial front on to see the angles 3. The picture on the instruction sheet could be better. It's hard to tell what angle the laptop support panel will be. So you have to try each of them one by one, through trial an error. 4. There's a bit of a noticeable wobble when typing and the legs slide across your desk, as there's no grip. (See Bottom position configuration, first image)
It seems like it might be good for reading in bed or on the sofa but not at the desk. I'll continue trialling this today but I'll most likely return it.
We initially loved this product but a broken spring in one of the arms rendered it non-functional after only 6 months of limited use. The company offered to replace the arm for free - but not the shipping costs which would have amounted to over 50% of the cost of a new one. Look elsewhere....
Informed the seller that mouse keeps falling off, and want to return but they asked for picture to show that. Not sure how can I show that when I use mouse pad it tilts and mouse falls off. They did not agree for return as they claim they have quality checked all their products and they don't see any issue. Quite disappointed with the service. Not using it and its lying in a corner. Stand itself is very light weight, considering its aluminium its expected but that does create issues in stability . I would not recommend this product.
This laptop stand is not easily adjustable. I wanted a stand that I can just lift up and down. This can't be done easily as you have to remove the laptop first then adjust both legs at 3 different joints each time. It is very lightweight, but I found it wobbles. The mouse pad stand is slippery so when you aren't using your mouse it slides off.
Product is not what I expected. I find it to be awkward with respect to adjusting it and I don’t like the location of the mouse tray. Also there is a steel on lip that goes across the bottom that digs into your wrists.
