We received the printer fast. I really liked the design, the packaging the concept of ink refill, I basically loved the printer till I actually printed a few photos and they are all coming in PURPLE. How is this possible from a brand new printer? Sadly I am returning it.
Device doesnt print anything besides 5x7. HP gives you the run around on replacement. Set up outside of Amazon return window which i regret but i literally had zero time to get it going and didn't anticipate such a god awful experience. Avoid this printer and HP products.
Honestly wanted to love this printer because it's so small and visually appealing but the set up took like 3 hours because the printer would freeze mid set up. When I purchased the printer I was told it would come with 3 months free of instant ink and canva pro. Upon set up, I got neither. Had to spend an hour on the phone with HP for someone to activate my instant ink offer. Then as if that wasn't painful enough. The canva pro offer was rejected. When I called HP I spoke to 4 different representatives none of them knew about the HP holiday canva promotion. And the last one just said to email canva because they have no phone number.... 1 month owning the printer still no resolution. The printer is not worth the hassle
Basically, if you buy cartridged for it, instead of subscribing to them from HP...
You are screwed. Cost per page it way too high, totally not worth the money. I though it would be OK though, it looks very nice, and if I print little, it is good. WELL, NO! You cannot print little. The ink dries out fast, meaning if you print ones in a few month, you might have to buy an extremely expensive cartridge, or better yet, a new printer that is not crap like that.
Basically, I felt for aesthetics, but this in not recommenced at all. Unreliable connections too.
I love this printer. I wish I could keep it! Honestly, if this works for you and you don't get a defective product, the ink is so cheap! However, I personally received a defective product. I tried printing on sticker paper and when they tried to blame it on that I said, "Well I have HP ultra white which is what you said this printer SHOULD be capable of printing on! It's YOUR brand!" Granted they couldn't argue when the issue was the same as what I experienced on the sticker paper.
When we tried to print, the pictures would come out pixelated. I don't know how to explain it, but you can see the 'dots' of every color in that picture. Nothing was blending or smooth. It was so grainy! Even on the HP recommended paper. I did the cleaning, alignment, etc and even redid it with tech support on the line. The guy determined that the issue is the cartridge. They sent me defective ink apparently and perhaps the machine is also a defect. They arranged for ink to be delivered, but in all honesty I've been waiting for over a week or so now. I'm tired of waiting and this thing is just gonna go back.
The printer itself looks like an apple product, the lighting is nice, and the sound pleasant. The printer is also very quiet. I do love it and wish I could keep it. But it's defective and I'm not about to follow through with warranty for a 'refurbished' product when I bought this brand new a few days ago. It makes no sense. Thus, it's going back. Maybe one day I'll try it again and my luck will be better. Maybe I'll get a non-defective product. But for now, it gave me a headache and I'm not patient with their 'support' while my refund window is ticking.
This description of the product states that I can print, scan, and copy from anywhere! This is stated n bullet three. False information! This item WILl NOT SCAN!! This is false advertising! Because I was away when this arrived I am stuck with a product that will not do as advertised and return date has long passed. HP supplier should at least exchange product for something that works as advertised.
This is the worst printer I have ever had the displeasure of owning. It is a wireless printer, so it obviously needs to be connected to the internet in order to print. It will never print. I click the "information" button and it prints out a sheet telling me that it is connected to my internet, it tells me the internet name and IP address it is connected to, and it tells me that the signal strength is "excellent" but when I go to print, what happens? ABSOLUTELY NOTHING. NOTHING HAPPENS BECAUSE THIS PRINTER DOES NOT DO THE ONE THING IT WAS MADE TO DO. Don't waste your money on this PIECE OF GARBAGE, you might as well invest in a good pen and some paper and write whatever it is out that you need to print because THIS TRASH WONT PRINT IT FOR YOU.
I really like this printer and it’s a shame that I have to return it after only a couple of pages printed as false jammed paper alert appeared that can’t be cleared. It’s a great looking printer with decent print quality but it’s too bad that it’s not very reliable and that’s why HP lost me as a customer - their products are just too defective and made with short lifetime.
Bought this printer 8 months ago, I should have returned it within the 30 day return, has been nothing but trouble. Will net connect to wifi. If I’m lucky I might get a print after playing around with it for an hour. I either an error message or cannot find printer Going to buy a new printer of different brand and this is going to be recycled. Definitely would not recommend this printer.
Even if it worked properly (didn't need to have the print heads realigned or cleaned before every single print) then i'd be great. It's small and compact but is literal garbage. Also eats up ink. Don't waste your money.
