If both of these suction hooks worked I would be delighted. BUT - one of my pack works well, the other won't stay on the tiles at all, no matter where I try to adhere it. It's such a nuisance because they're nice to look at and as I said, when they work, they do really stick.
Only one of the 2 actually work. I think the one that works is great, but the defective one is useless. I have tried it on 3 different non-porous surfaces, and within hours, it's on the ground. The reason for this purchase was to hang a stain glass piece in my bathroom window. I awoke to a noise. The piece was swinging back and forth, suspended by the good one. I found a different way to support my art. And have tried to use the hooks in a different role. One is doing great. But as I mentioned, I have zero confidence in its ability to hold anything at all. Not even a very lightweight microfiber hair towel.
They are very pretty and if you don't need both to do an important job, you will probably be fine.
I liked these hooks for quite a while; they performed (for the most part) as they were sold to. However, they've now (in the past 2 months) begun to fall off the walls without any warning. I've reinstalled them over and over, but they will not stay in place.
More irritating is the fact that communicating with this company is impossible. Notice that if you try to contact them, it appears you cannot. I will be glad to change this review once I can receive the support I expect from products that are sold via Amazon.
I have these on tile and they fall off every so often. My dad bought a different set that has a clear removable adhesive you can use when applying to textured surfaces or on slick tile (like mine)-work much better
when I first installed these I thought they were perfect! Then it happened... after a few days, they fell, and fell and fell again. everytime I reinstalled them they would last a day or so then fall. I was only hanging a shower brush on one and a lufa on the other so i wouldnt think weight was the issue. so i would say if you dont have a extremely smooth wall these might not work for you.
