I purchased a two cartridge set, one black and one color. I loaded them in my printer just fine. The black one works great but the color one constantly causes an error message saying color cartridge not found. I tried reinstalling the printer, rebooting the system, AND reloading the cartridge twelve (12) times. No luck. So, buyer beware, especially since you have to send back BOTH cartridges for replacement. I just use the black and tossed the color one but will NOT be ordering these again.
Product didn’t work. I replaced both the black ink and color ink into an hp printer. Printer recognized them as used genuine hp cartridges. I got about 5 pages of great printing done. After that, the printer refuses to use the ink in the cartridge. I had to toss it and buy a real hp cartridge. I was hoping this would help me save money but no dice.
I bought two of these refill ink cartridges in March 2020. I opened the first one in August 2020. The blue was completely empty or was clogged, it just didn’t work, there was nothing there. Are used it as long as I could using only black ink to print as much as possible. I finally got to a point where I needed to have a good bright blue color. I threw away 3/4 of a cartridge because there was no blue in it. I shook up a new one made sure it was open correctly and inserted it properly. This time there is no yellow. Two brand new cartridges and both times it has been missing a color I will not buy from this company again. Although I will say that the two colors that were in there did print very nicely and did last a good long time.
The Tri-Color did not work in my HP 3050A. The printer reported something to the effect “problem with tri-color cartridge” and would not respond to any button presses. I wrote to GREENBOX and they responded promptly. However, their procedures did not fix the problem. They then refunded my money. Yea, HP is making it hard to use 3rd party ink, and that’s a problem. I appreciate that GREENBOX is providing an alternative. However, it the cartridge did not work at all, in any way, and this in a printer listed as supported. Not sure what to make of that. Works for other people, but maybe not this printer. GREENBOX support was great, and provided a refun after one round, but in the end I had to do extra work to deal with it. Have not tried the Black cartridge. Hopefully that will work or more extra work.
At first I thought this product was fantastic, but after about a dozen prints (25%-50% coverage per page), my Canon MG3022 suddenly gives an error code 1403/1483 (5 flashes) advising the cartridge is not installed properly/appropriate cartridge not installed (note: I didn't remove the cartridge; it suddenly stopped working between prints while sitting in the printer!)
I called Canon to troubleshoot and was advised because it's not a Canon original part, they basically can't help me. The representative noted that re-manufacturered ones sometimes start to leak or the chip gets damaged quickly (which I believe is the case here). Very frustrating waste of money.
Good price but I bender up spending more. I needed to print a 30 page document. The black ink was gone before it finished printing. So I had to buy another black cartridge to complete the job. The color cartridge lasted more days because I didn’t print as much with color. In this instance I got what I pause for… an inferior product. Lesson learned.
I had my cartridges for 2 months. I don’t even use color cause it’s soooooo expensive but as I tried to print some DMV documents my printer wouldn’t work. It says that the color cartridge needs to be replaced. I tried to contact Amazon, they sent me to Greenbox to email them. I haven’t had a response yet, it’s been 3 days. I’ve been a customer for a while and was normally happy but this time I’m very disappointed.
These installed wonderfully, my printer recognized them as refurbished genuine parts, so I was glad about that. Then about halfway through the cartridges, it stopped printing. My printer say the XL cartridges are still 1/2 full, but nothing comes out when I print. I've aligned the heads, cleaned the print heads over and over, and still nothing. So, had to throw out 1/2 full cartridges and go back to the official brand. Bummer - I hoped this would be a good alternative to the expensive ink costs!
This is our second purchase. We have an Hp printer . It had had no trouble at all with these cartridges. Perfect print quality. We will be purchasing again.
Edit**This is my 3rd time ordering this ink, and usually I'm satisfied with it. HOWEVER, this last time my black ink does Not work. I have tried all the tricks. I emailed the company and got no response I am so bummed. Out the money and no ink and no customer service
I ordered the 2-pk of the Black and Tri-color ink cartridge. I've ordered this brand before and had no issues. This time, after changing both cartridges that were running low, the printer alignment test printout did not print completely clear, the black ink was skipping lines and some characters were fuzzy. As I continued trying to print pages, every other line of the black ink would not print so it was not possible to read what I printed clearly. I hope I can return just the black ink cartridge and I won't order re-manufactured ink again. The tri-color cartridge works fine. I put the old, low black ink cartridge back in and everything prints fine. Problem solved - bad black ink cartridge.
