This is great because I don't need to have it on my lap. I can sit cross legged in bed and have this in front of me. HOWEVER, my laptop slides off this ALLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL the time. Since it slides off all the time, and my pup likes to sleep right next to me, she's been woken up/traumatized by seeing a laptop almost fall on her (numerous times). I have a towel wrapped around the lap desk so the laptop has something to grip onto. Trying to think of something that isn't such an eye sore though.

I like this item, I do. The height of the pillow is perfect and it is oh-so-comfortable even for long work sessions. The 4-star rating is due to 2 factors: 1: it is not large. I use a 13” MacBook Air and there is absolutely no room for anything else on top of this lap desk. 2: the plastic side seems extraordinarily brittle, I can tell it will require safekeeping. Everything else about this product is great!

I like this lap desk but first of all let me say that I’m not sure about what material the top desk layer is made from on yours but mine is definitely “plastic” - NOT wood ad advertised! 😕 So being that the top is plastic everything slides! I tried a silicone mat but that didn’t work - I’m open to suggestions.
