Don't waste your money

First of all, this product is WAY over priced. I purchased two of them and paid $50.00 plus taxes. Ridiculous. There is not enough "filler" in them, the flat plastic platform bends easily and they are manufactured very cheap. I am Extremely unhappy with the quality! They are definitely NOT worth the $25 I paid EACH.

I bought this desk along with the "LapGear Designer Lap Desk" and cannot believe these are made by the same company. The designer desk, which is sturdy, well made, and only slightly heavier than this one. This lap desk is very lightweight and flimsy feeling, the fabric on the bottom is cheap and there aren't enough beads/pellets inside the cushion, so it doesn't sit firmly or evenly on your lap. Also, the rubber non-slip support bar is not actually attached to the desk, which I assume is a defect and not by design. It sits partially inside a long groove and rolls out when you move your laptop on the desk. This was a waste of money. For a few dollars more, the designer lap desk is so much better than this one.

I purchased this item on July 02/2020 to use as a laptop desk and occasionally as a portable table to eat from. Initially I was very happy with this item, it's lightweight and a nice size. However to my surprise this morning I noticed that the top has a large crack on one side after only 3 months of very normal use. Not impressed by the quality (or lack of it) at all and would not recommend this product.

This is an epic fail destined for the landfill before too many months. The plastic is very thin and of the type that will crack easily. The phone holder is too shallow to hold your phone steady while you type. The bumpers to keep your laptop from sliding onto your lap are not high enough. The cushion is understuffed and does not keep the weight off your legs.
At $9 this would be a ripoff. At $18 it is a total grift. Please save your money and don’t waste a single penny on this.

The area that supports the laptop became warped and because it now protrudes, I cannot comfortably rest my laptop on it. I tried multiple times to get in touch with the provider, and Amazon told me that they had contact LapGear regarding this issue, but there was no response.

It’s ok, not as sturdy or as big as mentioned, the fabric is really rough the stuffing inside goes flat within 10mins of using. If you have a bigger laptop I would not recommend at all. I got this so I could be on the couch or bed while on my laptop and not hurt my back anymore further, but my laptop takes up the whole thing and I’m still using a box with a mouse pad. I did all my measurement before buying and i SHOULD have room for my laptop and mouse but do not. So it’s now used for a table type thing when I do may nails 🤷🏼‍♀️

Super small. Extremely thin. You can see the hot glue lines throughout the bottom. The laptop cushion is basically nothing. Worse purchase ever.

Go to TJMAXX or even 5 and Below. I’m sure you’ll find cheaper and better quality. I barely look at mine. If I could return, I would.

I would give it a 0 star if I could. The item had a huge long scratch which is very visible. It was most probably used. If it wasn't for the pandemic I would be definitely returning it, but having to deal with the returning process and refund is a pain and a time loss!
