I bought a bunch of HAUS LABS products on a Black Fri/Cyber Mon. special. What a mistake! At least I got my money back.
Before you buy consider purchasing, admit that you are probably not on stage and need your horrifying makeup to be seen - and heard - rather than your face, from across a large stadium. Are you Lady Gaga? If so, go for this purchase. After all, you have plenty of money, stylists, and makeup advisors to make these products work for your job. It's hard for me to imagine that you would go out on the streets in this stuff, your Gaganess. BTW, I absolutely LOVE Lady Gaga: that's the one and only reason I gave this stuff a try!
The eyeshadow - both liquid and powder, either enhance that clown thing you're probably not going for, or don't really show up at all. Exception: the powder will fall on your cheekbones and nose, and STAY THERE, but that's not where most people are looking for additional various colors. Yeah, I was really excited about having black eyeshadow flecks under my eyes. Wasn't I then stunning?!
The mascara was worse than the stuff I bought at the drug store for less than $4 back in the day. I pulled the wand out and started laughing, it was so small with no oomph. I used coat after coat and my lashes honestly only looked a little darker - I have blonde lashes, so that was a giant bummer.
The good thing was that all of the makeup had somehow made it off my face within a few hours! Hooray? Want to either look like a clown or get no coverage? Those are the only choices with HAUS LABS
They look promising... at first (the 5 in the multipack) As soon as I put them on my hand, they looked good. A few minutes later, when they should've at least started to dry, they all smeered and then rubbed right off BUT did leave glitter all over the place. I tried again on my eyes, waited and waited for it to dry and after I thought they'd dried, went onto my lips, came back up to check and found a lumpy creasie mess that still hadn't dried. I doubt, at this point, I can get my money back. Update: I had to throw them out. They were useless to me. I'm starting to think that the multipack (5 in one plastic case) might be counterfeit, but now I'm afraid to try another one for fear that the same thing might happen. This can not be the same product in all of the other reviews. It claimed to be a $125 value for only $25. Obviously too good to be true. It had to be counterfeit. I couldn't believe Lady Gaga would put out such an inferior product and now, after reading these reviews I'm almost positive that she wouldn't. Don't fall for the BS "great deal".
This review is more about Amazon than the makeup because the eye shadow is actually fantastic. However I bought multiple colors for myself and my daughter and they were not shipped together. So as they started coming in I opened them each up and noted that they were taped at the top of the box. I thought it was new. Opened the inside - looked clean but there was barely any eyeshadow inside. I assumed that's just how they are and was glad I didn't pay full price. Kept it because the shadow is fantastic. HOWEVER, when the very last box of it came in, I noticed it was sealed at BOTH ends of the box. And when I opened it, the bottle was full of the eyeshadow and there was a noticeable weight difference! I had already thrown away the other boxes so I can't return the first ones I received but be aware that even if I did, Amazon would probably just ship it on to the next person that placed an order anyway. BOTTOM LINE: THE MAKEUP IS GREAT. AMAZON IS DISGUSTING. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THE EYESHADOW BUT BY IT FROM AN ACTUAL STORE. My "great price" ended up a waste of $50 anyway.
