This is a great product! The suction is amazing and it looks really good too. Unfortunately it was a bit deeper than I had anticipated and didn't work for the space I had intended so I requested a refund. Duru Shop issued my refund immediately and also told me that I did not need to return the product. The quality of their product and the service from them is amazing! I would definitely buy from Duru Shop again.
After several weeks the suction is holding up great. We put thick heavy towels on it and it is sturdy as can be. We have it on the glass outside of our shower. I have put almost my entire body weight on it to test it and it still didn’t come down.
The color is a dark and even oil rubbed bronze color. It is nice but on the darker side of our other oil rubbed bronze items. It still looks good with everything else.
The only downside is that you can see plastic levers that you use to engage the suction after you put it up. Not a big deal to me.
Overall, great quality product. I will be buying more.
I am so happy with this purchase! The bathroom in our new home had no room on the walls for a permanent towel bar, and we didn't want to put anything over the doors. I bought one to test and then ended up buying two more! They look great, are holding up very well, and show no signs of falling. I definitely recommend this if you need a strong suction cup towel bar.
The only thing that I don't like about them is the logo name on the front of the rack end pieces, but it checked all my other boxes so I was willing to overlook it.
Bought this to replace a 24" wall-mounted towel bar after we remodeled our bathroom. Guess what? This is not a true 24" towel bar. The end pieces are offset from the ends and take away about 3" of space. Really disappointing because this not being large enough to hold 2 towels means I have to get a true 24" bar which only comes wall-mounted. I didn't want to have to drill into the tile.
Other than that - the suction is great on this and the soap dish I bought. I think the problem others are having is that they are not mounting them on truly clean walls. We are mounting on brand new tile that had never been hit with soap & water. You can't have even a little bit of soap scum on the wall because that will eventually disrupt the suction. Recommend giving the walls a good cleaning before trying to mount.
Color is spot on and looks great with the rest of the accessories.
This is very nice expensive looking soap holder. I had to get over the shock of it being plastic and not heavy brass. For some silly reason I fooled myself into thinking this was to be brass, until I remembered the price I paid. LOL.
Seems very solid and suction is holding tight to my fiberglass shower wall. Just had to wash the wall before applying the suction cup. The soap holder has a slight lean toward the holes for water drainage.
Updated 6-20-19 Found my white soap turning green. See pics. Looks like the paint is coming off and a copper material is reacting with the soap and water. I've been washing my face with this stuff. I washed away most all the slime to see what's going on before pic. Don't recommend this item.
Tried to use this on a marble wall. I have a normal squeegee suction cup that sticks great. These suction cups did not work. But marble is a porous surface, so I relented and decided to use the adhesive discs. The adhesive discs are larger than the suction cup. Since my wall is not the same white color as the disc, I found it very unappealing. I decided to cut the adhesive discs to be hidden by the suction cups. After cutting them with scissors, I’ve had the discs and the towel bar hung for about two weeks. So it’s ok, but I wish the discs had been designed to not show.
This is on our tile wall in our bathroom to hold up my husband's "Duke Cannon Leaf and Leather Big Ass Brick of Soap" (smells great, check it out). I didn't think this would work, but wanted to give it a try. I cleaned the tile with rubbing alcohol to make sure the surface was clean. I followed the directions for the suction wall attachment. Made sure the soap dish was level and waited. I expected a crash in the middle of the night.... not it never happened. It's been about 3 months now and the soap dish is still there. I was worried it would cause soapy water to be directed back toward the wall rather than dripping straight down. I thought it needed a drip edge like on the roof... but nope. Not a problem. It has kept the brick of soap dry and remained on the wall. It looks great too, very high quality appearance. I'm impressed. So impressed that I ordered another one, for my bar of Dove soap.
