Pros: it’s big enough to fit my 14inch laptop plus a notebook to take notes on. I can fit a laptop and an iPad comfortably. The book stand comes in handy, and I like that you can put it away, it’s removable as well so if you just want to use the book stand you can. Table is adjustable. I like the mouse stopper. The compartment on the side comes in handy although it doesn’t have the smoothest slide. You gotta wiggle it . The adjusting clasps on the side locks but if you pull it slightly itll would come undone, so it’s not super secure. Con: It’s super heavy. But it’s foldable and you can put it away without it being in the way. I’d recommend. Although I wish it was lighter.
I like the size of the desk and that I could fold it up and store underneath my bed. Although, it comes with a few problems. It’s hard to adjust the height while it’s standing up. It’s best to adjust the height while it’s laying upside down. Also it wobbles a lot on uneven surfaces (bed, carpet). My biggest problem was that the side of the table has come off completely. I’ve only had it for two weeks. Whatever adhesive they used to glue it on has dried out and now it won’t stay in place. I’ll be trying to super glue it back.
Great size desk for students doing distance learning, but not for the price they’re selling it for (I paid about $95 total).
I bought this table because I thought the bottom would be made with fabric so it doesn’t rub against anything and for the sliding blocker. I guess it was my mistake, since I assumed it was fabric so that I don’t blame them, but the sliding blocker doesn’t slide at all. I also flipped the table trying to slide it but it just don’t budge. Additionally, I thought the storage compartment was a plus, but I can barely get it to open, and once opened I have to practically slam it to get it to close. Very disappointed with all its extra functions because none of them works. I don’t know if it’s just my desk though, considering all the other reviews I also read before buying. This was definitely not worth what I paid for. It was a lot cheaper before the pandemic but of course they increased the price after, but at least keep the material consistent. Also at the time of writing this, the price just went up again from the time I bought it.
Update: I just realized that I spent $84 on this, instead of $64. I took off another star. I had already thought that $64 was overpriced, but $84? If you can't do any better, then try this table, but I would recommend that people shop around. This product is over-priced and the movable parts are made of cheap plastic that have to be moved with considerable force. They definitely could have either done better. They could have priced it better, or they could have done better with the production. --- It is pretty sturdy, but it has a "cheapish" feel to it. The moving pieces get stuck and do not move smoothly, and the plastic moving parts are definitely on the cheaper side. However, the table, itself, is sturdy. There is plenty of leg room and the table height can be altered with relative ease. Overall, I'm quite happy with this purchase and hope to have this table in my life for a long time to come.
I don't think this was worth the price, but if you don't mind that or the fact that the book holder absolutely does NOT hold a textbook (it's basically useless and I have lost it since I received this desk because I couldn't use it) it really isn't a bad purchase. I do like it for when I'm sitting on my bed reading a book or using it as a food tray when I'm eating and studying at the same time (which is most days). Overall - if you can find the same thing at a cheaper price, I would recommend. Otherwise I would find a better product for this amount of money.
