This took a long time to arrive and when it did there was nothing protecting the lamp in the box. It was strange. However, it does work and we do love the soft light it gives off. It feels like we are eating at a high-end restaurant at night. Almost like candlelight.
Buenas y bonitas lámparas, Mis comentarios referente empaque de envío no es el mejor llegaron aplastados pero no afectó a las lámparas, sin instructivos ni especificaciones de tiempo de carga. Las lámparas son muy buenas.
I saw a high-end version of this lamp in a top Croatian Hotel, but found that Australian version cost ~$300. This Chinese version is a fraction of that price and looks good and works very well ...not quite like the high-end one...but pretty good. I use it for a dinner-on-the-patio type table lighting or for table lighting when the power goes out...which is not uncommon now in California. I used it again a couple of nights ago when the power went out. The light functions well with just a light finger tap on the top required to turn it on and change levels..and it uses an industry-standard 18650 Li-ion battery with great capacity. My big complaint is the charging system, which uses a very non-standard barrel connector to connect it to a standard USB-A 5 volt power module. As a result, you can't use any of the dozens of standard USB cables you use for your phone, etc. You have to go find this particular custom cord that only works with this light...total pain in the side. Also, the lamp does not have any sort of LED to indicate when charging is complete...totally thoughtless electrical interface design.
Lovely little lamp. I am not sure if it will meet my original needs, but I know I can use it somewhere. Just 2 things that I do not like: #1--there is no "on/off" switch. So, if you hit the top of the lamp, it comes on. In other words, even if it is daylight and I do not NEED it to come on, it does. #2--it requires its own unique charging cord. It is a USB <large> on one end, but on the end that plugs into the lamp, it is not a "mini USB plug" but rather it has its own unique connection. That just makes for one more cord I have to mess with.
I needed a small lamp that could run on battery power because my outlet selection is limited in my living room and I need a reading lamp for the end table. This is perfect and looks pretty! My only hesitation is that the charger doesn't seem to fully seat itself in the lamp's input plug and can easily pull out. Hopefully, it won't be an issue, but it is charging and the lamp turns on with all three levels of brightness. Excellent product for the price.
It’s a cute little thing, and it is kinda little. it’s great for a nightlight but not so much for bedtime reading and it’s good for a child’s room too.
It’s a soft warm glow so it gives a nice ambient warm cozy feel to your room. I wish it was maybe $5-$10 cheaper then I suppose I’d say it’s “value for money” i keep mine plugged in and I suppose it’s useful for when storms hit and the power goes out, I’ve yet to use it for that though. I don’t think it would hold a 48hr battery life on the full setting, maybe the dimmest setting.
I don’t get why people are saying you need two hands to use it and the videos of people spanking the top of it is ridiculous. You need one finger to ever so gently touch the outer edge of it and it works perfectly, it’s very sensitive and I like that feature about it. No need to slap it and go full force with it.
Love these lights but if you use them outdoors, they will corrode badly. I use these on my covered porch and in one summer, they have both badly corroded. Next time I guess find another lamp or maybe use car polish on them. UPDATE: Contacted the seller on the corroded finish and they are sending me replacements. What a great customer service group. I did send them some pictures but you cannot beat this type of service. These people stand behind their products. This time I will put some car wax on the finish to help protect the lamps when I sometimes put them on my covered porch. By the way, the battery charge lasts forever on these lamps. It lasted so long I forgot where I put the charger! I did find it though.
