this is very thin and not at all comfortable but most importantly it has no grip what so ever. I currently have turned it over and have the pattern side down as the other way presents a slipping hazard.
Bought these for my kitchen to replace a rug hoping to make it more comfortable for holiday cooking marathons. They are tiny, be sure to read the dimensions on these carefully, the picture makes them look larger than they are. The measurements are accurate so be sure to check those so you aren't disappointed. Placed them in the kitchen and within an hour there were deep scratches from my shelties who use the house as their personal racetrack. I hadn't realized how fragile these were or I would have just put them under the rug I've had there for 10 years with no problems. I thought from the description these would be sturdier. These may be just fine for a calm home, but be aware as you make your choice.
We’ve had these for a little less than a year now. They are quite thin originally, but we were okay with it at first. After about year of use, they are even thinner, to the point where I feel like they don’t really help with kitchen fatigue at all anymore. They’re also pretty dingy looking. Despite their wipeable material, they’re not super easy to clean and they stain and look dirty/discolored pretty easily.
We saw another brand of kitchen mat at Costco and decided to check it out. One of them (larger than the big one of these) for only $20. It is a world of a difference. So much thicker and your feet just sink into it. WAY better for kitchen fatigue. And it’s really barely more expensive. If you’re looking into kitchen mats, my advice would be to check out your local Costco, and if you don’t have Costco near you, just look for a different brand online that provides a thicker mat for a similar price or just a bit more. It’s worth it, and you’ll save money in the long run because you’ll be wanting to toss these mats after a year anyways.
Nothing anti-fatigue about these. We've used the original GelPro (photos of them side by side here) mats for years and they were getting worn. We thought these would be similar and the price was terrific. Wow, are these inferior quality. Hardly come up what seems like 1/4th of an inch off the floor, offer no anti-fatigue whatsoever, and our feet leave indentions in the foam when we walk away. And, an added disappointment, our cats are drawn to these for some reason, and claw them up. So we can't return them. We just use them as cat mats now. They claw them up and sleep on them. In the kitchen, they are useless. Comparatively, it's no contest against GelPro.
Easy to clean. However these are not cushioning, they feel pretty much like I'm standing on the floor. I had some mats before but we remodeled my kitchen and with covid and I am pregnant I didn't really feel like going into the store. We have had them a while and honestly I won't buy them again. Also the pictures are misleading on color, I really wanted teal but they didn't have that color so I tried the "green" bc of the picture was of a teal color No its really green. So not mad about that bc it was an easy return.
Overall they are pretty much just a kitchen floor mat if your looking for the anti fatigue mats keep looking.
I bought these because I was trying to save money. They are certainly better than standing on just a flat rug, or even the hard floor. But, they didn't provide as much comfort as I was hoping for. I decided to spend a few more dollars and buy the other thicker ones that KMAT sells on Amazon - they are far more comfortable/pain-relieving and well worth the extra expense.
Though measurement is provided on website, still feel photos displayed are misleading (most likely done with photoshop software). Quality & feel is acceptable. Now that is opened and stepped on, don't feel appropriate to return. However, does look awkwardly small and not intended for normal size kitchen. Prob not made for U.S. size kitchens.
Pros: These are very comfy to stand on and I love the color and pattern. Cons: I laid the small one down and in a matter of hours it had punctures all over it. The only thing I can think it was is my 11 year old pup and she has routinely trimmed nails, never had a problem with the other foam mats I have bought. They also are quite thin even though they seem pretty comfy right off the bat and they are quite narrow compared to others I’ve had in the past.
These are fine. They look like the photo in the ad, they're a cute addition to my kitchen, but they are not nearly as thick and comfortable as my $30 anti fatigue mat that I purchased at Walmart. They're quite a bit thinner and almost no better than just standing directly on the linoleum. I won't be returning because that's more effort than the refund is worth, and I don't do much cooking, but there are far better anti fatigue mats for the money. I would highly suggest purchasing something else as these are not nearly as comfortable as the ones you can get for a few more dollars at Walmart. They may not be as cute in your kitchen, but your feet and back will be happier.
Didn't help with pain relief or 'fatigue' but seems to be more of a hinderance since then are a bit bulky. Kept tripping and almost falling over. Had to return because of this and the size wasn't what I expected. Might be ok in a smaller kitchen, but they seemed to be raised up more than I would like or expected. Cleans easy though, just not as comfortable as I expected too.
