This binder helps organize my harp sheet music for Christmas. Although I always prefer spiral bound, this was the only option I found in a very attractive burgundy color (makes it easier to quickly pick out my music by color). I gave this Dunwell binder 5 stars for its reasonable cost and because it suits my purpose. Also, it has slots for a spine and title cover, is lighter weight for travel, and stays reasonably flat on my music stand with the help of binder clips. Note: I use File Plus +Do spiral bound binder for my whole sheet music repertoire (although it is heavier and twice the price of the Dunwell, it has a much larger capacity, stays flat without clips, can be used as either a one-page or two-page format, has sheet pocket versatility for marking up music, and harder covers with pockets inside on each).
At first while filling the pages I was disappointed. The sheets did not seem to have pouches to hold my pages in place. I must say it was about the10th page or so when I realized they opened like they should have. It was not for my not trying either. I did all I could as a weak old person to open them. It wasn't until I breathed warm breath onto my fingers to moisten where I could separate the two sheets bound together. I am very happy with this binder and is being used exactly the way I wanted it to when I placed the order. I turned the cover around and hid their advertisement and just printed on the back as my own cover sheet. It's not great paper to print on but I did it anyway and just set it out for a while to completely dry. I would recommend, but those of you wanting to add sheets forget it. I do not see any way to do that. BTW,, if I am incorrect about that :: manufacture= please correct me I will delete that statement. However, I have 8 of empty pages and thought before ordering I would need more.
Very nice folder, which I purchased to keep my important documents in. As a certified drone pilot I keep my insurance, waivers, and any other pertinent information relating to my business in this folder, so I have it available to show to any authorities who might have questions about my activities when I am flying my drone. This is perfect, And looks very professional.
I have purchased 7 of these notebooks in the last 3 months to hold my sheet music that I can print on 8.5x11 paper. They are durable, versatile, and easy to use. I have searched for these types of notebooks in stores and have not been satisfied with the quality. These are very well made. I can open to a page and it stays open while on my music stand. Filling the sleeves is easy. I can remove pages from the sleeves without issue to mark something on the page if necessary. They are thin enough to sit on the music stand, unlike a loose-leaf notebook, which can get clunky. I hope to get a magazine holder so I can line them upright on a shelf, but have yet to do that. For now they are piled on top of each other and tend to slide. So I would recommend the magazine holder to keep them organized and neat. My only complaint is that I want more color variety. White, Blue, and Maroon get pretty boring. Aqua Blue is pretty though.
I bought this binder to hold my son’s school and extra curricular awards and certificates. The binder works perfectly for this purpose and I’m very satisfied. I’d buy this item again and I recommend it to others. Shipping was quick and the binder came packaged in protective plastic and then placed in a bubble mailer. Great purchase, smooth transaction, unbeatable price.
This price is good for a book in which to store 8 x 10 photos but the sleeves are extremely thin and flimsy, so much so that I found it necessary to insert a thick piece of paper behind his photo to make it easy to turn the pages. I wouldn’t recommend these unless you just have so many photos to store that you cannot afford a better one.
