I bought the stone stream shower head thinking it would solve my low water pressure problem which is a huge problem when it comes to showers.
Before making the purchase, I read the reviews, watched countless videos promoting the stone stream and others like it. All claiming the same thing. To increase your water pressure up to 200%.. soften your water and filter the water.
All I wanted was a shower than worked well. Anyway, I thought I'd take the gamble and give it a go.
I was actually excited about having a decent shower instead of a pathetic trickle of droplets from my existing shower head.
So, upon receiving the stone stream, I went ahead and installed it on my new shower hose because if you're going to replace the head, you may as well replace the hose.
It took all of 20 seconds to screw on the new shower head and have a quick test of the buttons. They all seemed to be working but you don't know until the water is on.
Now, I don't know what I was expecting but I was hoping for a burst of water to jet out of the shower head and maybe even feel the pressure in the hose and head itself.
I toggled through the different settings.. rainfall, narrow jet and standard shower mode.
Well, all I can say is, water does pass through the showerhead.
I initially thought there was a blockage or something wasn't right.
I double checked the hose and showerhead.
It all seemed fine as far as plumbing was concerned.
So why wasn't it like I saw on TV?
What's the issue?
I went back online and had a thorough read about this product and read the reviews again.
It seems, I was sucked in by the TV ads and over rated reviews.
Immediately, I felt like a complete sucker and fool.
That was that, I boxed it up and sent it back to Amazon. Reason being, it doesn't do as described.
So what was the verdict?
Did in increase the pressure? No. Actually I felt a bit weaker.
Did it soften the water?.. I couldn't tell.
Would I recommend this to anyone?
100% NO.
Please don't waste your money, this shower head is nothing but a gimmick.
If you have good water pressure, you may see some difference.
I know for a fact, it doesn't live up to its hype.

Put this on for 1 shower and have taken it off again.
There is no increased pressure. so have gone back to the old shower head.
the holes are very small on the head so you feel like you are being misted.

This shower head is poorly made. It does provide high water pressure, but this company decided to hold the whole shower head together with a cheap plastic ring. It's the shiny ring on the shower head where the water comes out. It is threaded plastic and it has to deal with the water pressure. Mine cracked in less than a month. When that happens, the water will squirt out the sides of the plastic ring where it cracks and makes a soaking mess. These guys are selling a product that will not last. I don't know if it makes the water softer, but I do know that they should have used better quality materials. I also know that, soft or not, the mess that resulted from the shower head cracking was not any easier to clean.

The reviews on this were hit and miss, my shower is woeful so thought it couldn't be any worse, but putting this on proved me wrong, no extra pressure if anything it was worse, the weird thing is, if I removed the head the pressure was great!! Electric Power shower time I think!!

We bought this shower head for our Motorhome. It worked ok for the first 4 times of using on the fine spray setting. After that we were getting back pressure on the third setting & now have to use on the first or second setting. It was almost as if the water couldn’t escape quickly enough on the fine spray (3rd setting). I would have returned but unfortunately we’ve missed the return window as only just returned from our trip.

Never buying this again I wouldn't recommend anybody else buy it either as soon as I plugged it in and turned the water on it exploded just came straight apart the head just blew up never buying something like this again just pay the extra money for a decent shower head

Safety hazard!! The face of the shower head jetted off hitting the tub so hard it dented the face plate of the shower head. Of course I was upset, BUT was furious because I was preparing to give my 2 & 3 year old a bath. 😳 I use the shower head to rinse them off. It frosted me to think of what would’ve happened had I not turned it on before using it to rinse their little heads. 🤬

I purchased this shower head in attempts to boost the water pressure while showering, the claims of a 200% increase got my attention, however … after using the product a number of times I have come to the conclusion that while I used to think that my current shower head had the power of a kinked hose, since installing this shower head my old one feels like showering under the Niagara falls !!

The fine mist that this shower head creates at supposedly 100% capacity is far from 200% power….
If you don’t constantly check that it’s on you may forget you actually have water running !

The claims made against this product are wildly exaggerated and somewhat miss leading, In my honest opinion this product should be avoided at all costs !

I was not happy with this purchase. The pressure was very low. It is the only showerhead that I have had that made my shower curtain not stay in place. It kept blowing into the shower. Very annoying! In one month, I already had sprayers broken and spraying in all sorts of directions. I would not recommend this.
