All these loose wires was driving me insane, so I got a pack of these. So first the bad, some of the wires do still come out of the slot, especially if you have thicker wires, I'm little worried about the tape being scratching the paint off my desk or wall (so be aware the tape is quite sticky). How the Great news, you get exactly what you trying to do, and that is organize and hide your wires (off your ground)... my desk has gotten way cleaner without all those hanging wires. 6 tubes is more than enough for one desk, and the tape they provide is more than enough.
Update*** So the issue with this tape also is that it can only hold up maximum of weight. Be aware, if you are taping up something like a power adapter I'd add two strips of tape, as one isn't strong enough.
The piece of plastic is the same as in the picture and fit my cables well enough, but the adhesive... Jeez. It sticks to its own protective layer much better than to the plastic, so my 2 attempts to use it ended with the glue in my hands. I'll have to find something else probably.
The channels themselves are high quality and sturdy, but the product did not arrive with the double sided tape it was supposed to. Had to go out and purchase some myself, adding another $8 to the cost and added inconvenience.
I don't know how many cables you're supposed to have in there, recommended is 6. I have roughly 6-8 on each one of these sections, and most of them stand up. The one I have at the end of the desk where the leads run into the computer is the one that fails.
I don't have any issues with a lot of theother sections I have. I cut a few of them down to make them work in sections that need a different length.
Easy to cut with a hacksaw, easy to install, the glue/tape is actually great and doesn't leave a residue. However, I still have an issue with one section.
