Since I started teaching online last March I’ve rotated between my home office and living room couch. I was using a traditional TV tray in the living but it was all scuffed up. I started looking to replace my set and found this. Love it! Very sturdy, doesn’t scuff like wood, a little bigger than a traditional tray, slides so easily, and has a slot for my phone, pens, post it notes. The only downside is that the cup holder is pretty small like a can of soda barely fits.
The table itself feels sturdy and works great. Glad they fixed the round legs so it doesn’t tip over. The only thing is that the cup holder is small and can only fit a can or small glass. It also feels a little flimsy so probably good it’s not bigger.
Love this tray! I bought it for my library, to support heavy books that I sometimes read (so I don’t have to twist in an awkward way in my chair to rest the book on my armrest.). I also study sign language and this allows me to place my book on the tray and use my hands to practice without (again!) twisting awkwardly to balance my book on the armrest. It is light weight, was very easy to assemble and looks nice. The cup holder can be slid out of sight if you don’t need to use it and there’s another snap on tray for pens or whatever that I left off, but is nice to have if you need it. The device groove on top works well to hold my iPhone and iPad. There’s a lip all the way around the tray to help keep your book/phone on the tray even when it is tilted. The tray adjusts to three positions, so very versatile. Looks like it would work great for computer, eating in front of the TV, etc. Great price too! Also folds away for easy storage.
The tray part is warped. The bottom left corner is bent down so whatever is set on that corner appears to be leaning. The frame seems pretty stable and well built but the tray is flimsy. The drink holder slide out with the removable bottom is a terrible idea because it doesn’t separate from the drink unless it’s smaller than the holder, so it’s constantly coming out. Even threw it away by accident once. Not a great buy for my buck.
Needed a desk for my studies...saw this..price was right, product description matched what I needed...very disappointed with actual product... not sturdy at all..afraid to put a book and computer on it at the same time..or even write on it, as it tends to lean under pressure....but, at this time, I need something and don't have time to return. Would not recommend for use of more than 10 lbs, unless something is placed underneath for added support. The table top itself is sturdy, and easy to clean! As mentioned before, the price was right, and I got what I payed for!
I got a new laptop (using it and the table mate right now actually) so I wanted a convenient table I can store under the couch away from my curious 2 year old. This fit the bill. Everything has been pretty good except one of the plastic collars on one of the legs was a little stripped on arrival. This just means I need to readjust it when I unfold it, the pegs keep it at the correct height while in use, it's more of an inconvenience fortunately. Other than that the table works fine, is plenty sturdy (pro version), and fits my needs. I just wish I had gotten the XL. I wanted to stream some games to my laptop (13.4") and use a 1 handed keyboard and mouse for better control but it doesn't quite fit without putting the keyboard on the corner of my laptop (still useable). That's my own fault for not anticipating my own needs and getting the smaller one. If you'd like to work from the couch or game with a controller this thing is fine and sturdy and a decent grab for the money.
Pretty handy little table. Worth the money - if you are sliding it, you have to be cautious that you don’t pop the bar out and then the table and everything on falls. Also- the cup holder is flimsy and worthless- maybe a thin plastic bottle would fit into it but most cups I use don’t.... still for the money it’s a good table
Honestly the amount I spent on this I was expecting more. It feels to flimsy and bendy in all the places you dont want it to be. The stands legs are also not very strudy and only 2 available degrees to really put it in because the 3rd one is only usefull if you turn the leg stands to face in the opposite direction. Would not buy again look elsewhere
I really thought the table with sturdy corners and tightening knobs on the legs would make it very solid and sturdy but it is very wobbly. The knobs do not seem to tighten snuggly. I bought the more expensive one for the added features but I probably would have done as well buying the cheapest one. I bought 2 of these now I wish I would have bought one cheaper one and this one that was just shy of $50. to had compared quality. For sure I paid too much. Buy the cheaper one as this one did not make it sturdier.
I love this little table!! I actually got it for my boyfriend to use while he was sick but he went in the hospital the day before it got here and I've been using it instead. It adjusts to every use you could ever need it for (height and table tilt) and is sturdy enough for books and my laptop, dinner, etc.... I have 2 large dogs and, to this day (knock on wood), they haven't knocked it over. I didn't give it 5 stars on sturdiness only because, as I'm sitting here now typing with my arms resting on it, it moves just a little back and forth. Not enough to bother me at all!! But it's not rock solid. Bottom line is: I highly recommend this table ~ I love it!!
