I got excited to have the legendary Sharpie ink in a gel pen format.
However, every pen in the pack I purchased gets stuck every now and then. I have traced this to the ink cartridge getting stuck at full extension, and the compound spring doesn't have enough force to release it. Oddly, pushing on the tip will not free it. Taking it apart has been the only way to fix them.
It's really annoying having to take a pen apart once or twice a day. I'd say its basically a catastrophic design flaw. Looks like my daily driver Pilot G-2s will not be replaced by these until they manage to improve the reliability of the mechanism.
Initially blurry impressive. Nice vibrant deep purple line, rich. But after 1-2 weeks of use, they leak. They ooze inside and the exposed tip becomes covered in ink, which smears w first use of the day, gets on fingers, ruined one pocket. Disappointed , was expecting a SHARPIE level of premium product, but now having to decide to discard the rest of the box. No one like pens that leak and ooze.
The picture shows 2 black, blue, and red ink pens and 1 purple and green. The pens I received was 4 black ink pens, 1 blue, red, purple and green. It wasn't that big of a deal since black ink is what I use more often but after opening up the package I noticed that the green band of the green pen was cracked and so I'll be making a return.
I love these pens and the way they write. They glide across the paper with style and grace. However, they do not last long at all. Some of these pens run out within minutes of opening them. It is not a gradual run out either. They just end.
Disappointed. Sharpie is a great brand, but these pens are not quite up to par. I have had 2 stop writing after just a short period of time, and today I had the 2nd one start puking ink out of the top where the push button is.
