My kid loves this lap desk for his school work at night. He notes it is comfortable, and there are no holes nor attached pieces for laptops to take away from the space. He even uses it for working on his art. There is a covering (the image is printed onto) and I have not seen that it affects his use with pencils nor crayons. Super glad there is one company making a lap desk with cushioning so older kids may comfortably use this portable desk.

This is very lightweight, but because it has the right amount of filling it adjusts easily.to sit very balanced and comfortably on my lap as I sit in my recliner. I’m currently wearing a medical back brace around my middle, and so this enables me to eat or put on my makeup etc in the recliner, in any position, without having to lean forward over a tray table. The shape is perfect, and I appreciate the handle.

I would prefer a wood look top and a medium or dark brown fabric rather than these patterns, but that’s a minor quibble compared to the benefits of its size, light weight, balance and general convenience.

This lap desk is very cute with great colors. The padding seems nice so far, and stitching even so far with no little snags I can find. The only issue that gets to me is I spent $30 on this lap desk and the dimensions are off.

The ones that say 14.5" is horizontally from the bottom left corner to the top right corner and not across the lap desk like I had thought it would be. The dimensions that say 11.3" do not seem to exist. No matter how I line up a ruler - 11.3" just will not happen. I have included some pics of the measurements I took and you might be able to see my purple pen marks I made on the packaging to see where 14.5" was at. (Could never find 11.3" on this lap desk so that mark is not there.) I also included 1 pic of this lap desk turn upside down and laying on top of the lap desk I am replacing. You can clearly see that the blue lap desk practically swallows the one I bought. I only got this lap desk to eat off of in from of the tv, but I honestly may have gotten a different one if I had known the true dimensions.

Overall the lap desk is really nice, just the measurements on the listing should be more accurate.

Unlike most I did not get this free for a review...I paid full price

There is nothing overly fancy about this but I'm the type to use my laptop while I'm sitting on the sofa and using a pillow was causing it to overheat. Having a solid flat top solved this problem. Understand that this isn't huge, you won't be able to use your mouse on it if you have one, and contrary to the description there is no place to store your cellphone (not that I'd want to anyway). The pillow part is filled with small soft round beads of some sort so it feel like a mini beanbag, and you can sort of squish it a little this way or that to make it more fit right if you hold it on your lap. The top will probably scratch if you have something sharp on it but after weeks of use neither my laptop or me have done any harm to it. It's lightweight, and you get your choice of patterns/colors. I chose the Map with the brown pillow to coordinate with my furniture.
