5 inches (approx 13 cms) square . Height depends on the adjustment angle, but it’s about 6 inches (15 cms). A very good sturdy construction. I have my tablet in a thick padded case but it sits securely on the stand when folded to the open position. Folds up very small, so you could easily take it in a shoulder bag when travelling. Delivery was super quick.
This is really sturdy and stable, feels solid when using a tablet whilst in the stand. No wobble when typing on screen
Unlike it’s predecessor, it’s easy to plug it in and have it charging while using it in portrait.
Devices with square flat edges seem to catch on the padding as you put them into position which I’d find a pain if I was taking my tablet on / off the stand a lot. If my tablet was not in a case I’d worry about scratching the back on the non-padded metal. I think this would be better if the whole support was covered by the padding. If you don’t put the tablet in just right it can catch the metal. Once the tablet is in position it’s really great but worry that sooner or later the tablet will get a nasty scratch. I expect it will be fine if you always have a case on the device.
Simple but nice design- real sturdy. I like how easy it is to move around the house. Best accessory iv ever brought for my ipad.
I use a 12” pad no trouble at all. I carry it around the house leaving the ipad in it. Thats how well it sits in there. Although there is no locking feature or safety clip to hold the ipad the little fiber-ish pads really grip the pad well. Very sturdy you wright on.
Like a lot of people still working from home and even though I have a desk, there is a lot of technology on it. I had my tablet in a bi-fold on the desk but it was taking up too much space. There is a lot of choice for tablet stands but the simplicity of the OMOTON stand is what won me over. In terms of space saving, it is perfect and with a simple up and tilt mechanism, it feels rock solid. I only have it on my desk to listen to Spotify or have Netflix on in the background during the working day but can see the benefit if using a screen with a keyboard and the simplicity of this would make using a screen very easy.
Excellent little stand! Very simple yet sturdy design. I’ve seen complaints in other reviews that it’s too stiff to move the tilting arms, but I haven’t found it too stiff at all. In fact it adds to the sturdiness, it wouldn’t be as stable if the arms were too loose. I guess in an effort to address these complaints, the vendor even followed up by email on how to loosen the arms, should it be an issue (which it isn’t imo). I definitely recommend this stand!
These are impressive considering the price. They are quite weighty which is great as it gives better stability. The various angles you can place the tablet including low and to a shallow angle is great plus this allows for more stability as the actual feet that the tablet sits in touch’s the desktop. All in all handy tool.
Well built stand. Very solid and able to support an iPad Pro 12” perfectly. Angles can be change readily and efficiently. Can be folded to fit in a bag. Definitely worth the money. Would heartily recommend.
This item holds an ipad 8 well and does not move when used with one finger operation. Limited dexterity. Only down side that the channel at the bottom is not deep enough to accommodate a case when the cover is closed. Would I buy it agan? Yes
