I thought all Teflon tape would essentially be the same- but you get what you pay for. Super thin, so it requires more wraps, folds over on itself much more easily and in every way much harder to work with than any I have used before. Will not buy it again

I was excited after reading the reviews, as I use quite a bit for sealing vials that I use for shipping ink samples. I use less than 2" per vial, so the pieces are pretty small. Wherever I touch the tape as I'm cutting it or holding it down, it immediately becomes so weak/thin that you can practically see through it. In my photos, the little straight marks where caused by gently trying to hold it down with my fingernail.
The next photo shows what happens when you stretch it. I'll keep looking for a higher quality tape.

Thin, tends to shred, harder to tear

This tape gets super thin when stretched around pipe threads and is difficult to tear off without significant shredding into multiple strands. I measured it as being 2.5 mils thick. I prefer a name brand tape that is 3.5 mils - 4.5 mils thick (should be if it meets MIL-T-27730A or better). Oatey FastTape (Home Depot) works for me (is about 4 mils thick and tears off relatively easily and cleanly) but there are plenty of others to choose from. In my opinion, this one is not a good value even though it is cheap.

I bought this to seal the threading on small atomizer bottles; I didn't need anything special and this was a good price... however it is of subpar quality compared to others I have used. It seems thinner and it gets stringy easily and folds up, making it hard to use.

Compared to every other brand of Teflon tape I've used over many years, this is the worst. Stuff won't even stick to itself, let alone threads. Very dissatisfying.
