To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we do not use a simple average. Instead, our system considers things like how recent a review is and if the reviewer bought the item on Amazon. It also analyses reviews to verify trustworthiness.
I bought this mat to replace another, smaller anti-fatigue mat in my kitchen. This mat looks nice. I like the flower pattern on it, and I like the size. However, the mat is very thin.
The flooring my kitchen is a little uneven, and I can feel the bumps in the floor through this mat. I didn’t have this problem with my old mat. Also, this mat is not very cushy at all. I would not even classify it as an anti-fatigue mat. It has about as much cushion as the memory foam rug I have in my bathroom.
Bottom line, if you are looking for a true anti-fatigue mat, I do not recommend this product.
I bought this on prime day, as it had many good reviews. ~First, it is very pretty, if that is what you want ~For support and comfort I give it a 1.5 max. as it is better than nothing. I could tell little difference than standing on my concrete floor. Very, very little support/comfort. ~~The foam/core was terrible. I could feel the floor beneath me. I bought one last year (different brand) that was as to be expected for the $$. Gees, I have 10 year old ones that have more support than this provides. ~~ Positives in mpov: it is pretty, they gave a refund immediately. If you want even decent support, unless I got a fluke, you do not want this rug.
KMAT Kitchen Mat Cushioned Anti-Fatigue Floor Mat is very dark, almost black. For decorators - this item looks very much like what one would see in a mechanic's garage. Not much mottling shows in the material. Seller lightened the photo. The mat is rather homely, so I will use it outside my door. Not as thick and comfortable as some other buyers claim. Disappointing.
Read the measurements! Unfortunately, I only looked at the length of these mats and forgot to check the width. Unless you have a tiny apartment kitchen, these look ridiculous! They are not wide enough and are not very cushioned, either. I cannot believe they had 4+ stars from anyone!
I bought this because many reviews said it doesn't smell. Either I received 2 bad mats or they're lying, because these mats have a terribly strong chemical smell. I left them in the garage for 4 days; just brought them into the house and they still smell. I'm taking them back to the garage now.
Disappointed. I attached a picture of the Amazon rug VS Costco. Costco is way more padded and is indeed an anti fatigue mat. This mat from Amazon is longer which is why I ordered it. Unfortunately, its padding is not what I expected. Definitely not as padded as my Costco mat. The look will be ok but looks cheap and not really much padding.
I have some mats that I love but tried these because they are longer and cover more floor right at the counter. It's like there's nothing there. I can barely tell the difference between concrete floor and these mats. Regret the purchase.
It certainly was comfortable but it caused me mild (only because I quit using it) plantar fasciitis, or something similar. To make sure it was the matt I used it for a while, quit, used it for a while, etc... and every time it caused pain on the bottom of my foot. I may just be an anomaly.
In the past I have used two mats from a local big box store, but was looking to replace with one longer mat. The length and appearance are nice, but not nearly as thick and cushioned as the ones I’ve purchased elsewhere.
The mats are cushy, color is good but they are NOT the size represented in the advertisement. The dimensions are off. And, the pictures are misleading because the largest mat they offer is 17" wide and the picture shows a mat more like 30" wide. I got mine on sale so will keep but would not pay full price for these.
